?Chapter 889:
After speaking, his gaze shifted toward Phillips.
Phillips nodded in understanding and proceeded to open the door.
Outside, several delivery workers lined up, carrying an array of boxes. Much to everyone’s amazement, the boxes contained treats from Red Shell Bistro.
Grinning, Adonis expressed his gratitude. “Mr. Flynn, thank you so much.”
With a slight smile, Eric responded, “You’re wee.”
Eric continued, “You’ve all been instrumental in generating revenue for East Entertainment. Consider this a small token of appreciation, especially for you, Adonis. We’re counting on your unwaveringmitment.”
“It’s simply part of the job,” Adonis responded.
Peering at his watch once more, Eric suggested, “Sorry for the rush, but I need to bring someone along with me.”
“What do you mean?” Adonis asked, puzzled as he clutched the sweets. Rising to his feet, he asked, “Mr. Flynn, who needs to apany you?”
“There.” Eric nced.
Over, his eyebrows lifted slightly as he looked toward Hadley, who was tucked away in the corner.
He then took decisive steps toward her.
A gulped nervously. “Hadley, look! Mr. Flynn is heading this way—specifically for us!”
Despite the news, Hadley’s response was to simply frown and avert her eyes.
Eric approached with a subtle grin. “Time to go, Hadley. I’ve informed Adonis you’ll be apanying me.”
“Mr. Flynn.” A finally realized Eric was there for Hadley.

Could it be that they were still together? Had he not grown weary of her yet?
With a forced smile, A turned to Hadley and nudged her. “Hadley, Mr. Flynn is speaking to you.”
Murmurs filled the air around them. “Is that woman?”
“That’s the new talent, Hadley.”
“Is she acquainted with Mr. Flynn?”
“Judging by her looks, she must know him. Haha.”
“Adonis was the one who picked her; it makes sense now.” Thements were hushed, yet a few reached her ears.
Upon meeting Eric’s eye, Hadley’s re was sharp, though she held back her words.
Reacting to him directly could unleash a whirlwind of gossip! “We should leave now.”
Noticing her irritated expression, Eric felt remorse but still grasped her wrist.
Hadley’s first impulse was to jerk her hand away, yet considering their public surroundings, she kept herposure.
“Time to head out.” With a reassuring smile, Eric guided her from the room.
He gave Adonis a nod on their way out. “Thanks, Adonis. You can resume tomorrow.”
“Understood, Mr. Flynn.”
Following the directive from their superior, pliance was the only option.
Once outside, Hadley’s silence was noticeable as she finally shrugged off Eric’s grip.
