?Chapter 511:
In a swift movement, Eric stooped, scooping her off the ground. “Stand up. We’re leaving!”
He hoisted her into his arms and strode towards the car.
The car door mmed with such force it seemed to echo through Hadley’s chest. She bit her lip anxiously. “Where are we going?”
Eric remained silent, avoiding her gaze.
He ignited the engine, floored the elerator, and the car surged ahead rapidly.
Peering out the window, Hadley recognized the path they were taking.
They were on their way to the secluded Silver Vis.
He was speeding, yet the early snow-covered morning meant fewer cars on the road, allowing them to reach their destination swiftly. As they approached, the car turned into the driveway and sped towards the garage.
Eric hit the brakes hard, causing the tires to screech and sparks to fly from the friction with the ground.
Observing his darkening silhouette, a cold fear gripped Hadley. She quickly unfastened her seatbelt, opening her mouth to speak tentatively. “Eric, um…”
Before she could finish, he pushed her back against the seat.
Simultaneously, the seat clicked back into a reclined position, forcing Hadley to lie down. Next thing she knew, Eric loomed over her.
Her eyes widened in rm. “What are you doing?”
“I can’t wait any longer!”
Eric reached towards her throat. “You said nothing happened between you and Denverst night? Alright, I’ll find out for myself right now!”

What? Hadley was shocked, instantly grasping the implications.
“Stop, please!”
Hadley frantically shook her head, her hands pushing against his chest as she attempted to fend him off.
“I said no! This isn’t what I want!”
“You don’t want?”
Consumed by jealousy, Eric seemed deaf to her protests.
“Why not? Haven’t we been intimate before? After reuniting with your ex, do you consider yourself too good for me now? Did something happenst night? Now you’re off-limits? Are you keeping yourself for him?”
Such absurdity!
Anger flushed Hadley’s face pale, her body shaking with rage. In a swift motion, she struck him across the face.
“Bastard! Eric, you’re a bastard!”
“I’m a bastard?”
His face twisted with fury, Eric’s anger intensified following the p. He clenched his jaw.
“So I’m the bastard, huh? In your eyes, I’ll never stack up to Denver!”
“Yes!” Hadley’s voice was raw as she yelled, her eyes bloodshot with emotion.
“Denver is far superior to you! He embodies true gentility, integrity, and honor. Can you even begin topare? You’re unworthy!”
“You!”
Eric’s hand shot up, his fist tight, hovering in the air, but he restrained himself from striking.
