    651.Chapter 651

    651.Chapter 651

Theodore chuckled at her sheepish expression, and for once, his stern, rigid face softened. "You''re a good child. I''m certain, with you at its helm, the Padi family will once again shine across thend."

"Thank you for your kind words. I will do my best to live up to your expectations," Eliza replied.

"Good." With a heartyugh, Theodore departed, forted by the thought that his old friend''s legacy was in capable hands.

Soon after, several ministers, including Percival, approached Eliza outside the hall. They greeted her warmly and exchanged a few cordial words.

This wasn''t just because of her status as the Holy Lady. From this day forward, she was no longer the disowned daughter of the Stonor family; she was the head of the Padi family.

Eliza responded to them with poise, handling each interaction with grace and elegance. Every gesture and word carried the dignity of a true leader, leaving the officials quietly impressed and looking at her in a new light.

Nn and Rafe stood quietly to the side. Neither of them stepped forward to interrupt and simply watched her from a distance.

Nn knew this wasn''t the right moment for him to step in. After all, Eliza was about to officially take her ce as the head of the Padi family. She needed the support and approval of more people.

"Your Grace," another voice called out.

Eliza turned her head and saw Dale walking out of the hall toward her, his face drawn and weary. He bowed respectfully and said, "Your Grace, congrattions on achieving your goal. I regret not speaking up for you earlier. I have failed you."

He was referring to his promise to support her in changing herst name.

Eliza replied coolly, "It''s fine. I''ve received the items you sent to Saint Grace Nunnery. Let''s consider it even."

Though Dale hadn''t stood by her, he hadn''t worked against her either. In the past, whether it was Adeline''s provocations or Caleb''s harassment, he had at least tried to remedy things afterward. Because of that, Eliza felt neither gratitude nor resentment toward him, only indifference.

"I''m d to hear that. With those in hand, I trust it''ll be easier for you to rebuild the Padi family. If you ever need he sessfully unlocked! The Marquis''s estate.....” Dale trailed off, as if a thought had hit him.

"No, on second thought, you probably shouldn''t," Dale said with a wry smile, then shook his head and walked away.

    651.Chapter 651

Eliza felt a bit bewildered as she watched him leave.

Once outside the pce, Eliza found Mki waiting for her. She gave him a smile, and he understood everything without a word. That moment brought tears of joy to his

    eyes.

"Wonderful, just wonderful," Mki eximed. "Atst, the Padi family has a leader once more!"

Unable to contain his excitement, Mki quickly asked with an ted voice, "Your Grace, will you be returning to Saint Grace Nunnery or heading back to the Padi estate?"

"Saint Grace Nunnery," Eliza replied. She wasn''t nning on staying in Hasen City.

She continued, "It''s all settled now; there''s no need to rush. In three days, the name change will be officially recorded, and the family que will be restored to its rightful ce. We''ll need to host a feast for the asion. I''ll leave the preparations in your capable hands, Mki."

Mki beamed even more as he replied eagerly, "Your Grace, it''s a great honor to serve you! Don''t worry. I''ll take care of everything perfectly."

Eliza hadplete trust in Mki. She then boarded the carriage, which began. heading toward the city gates.

Just as they passed through the gates, the carriage came to an abrupt halt.

"Who dares block our way?" Mki shouted.

Soon, a woman''s desperate voice rang out, “Eliza-no, Your Grace! Please save my son! Please save Caleb!"
