"They didn''te here."
Nicole felt rest assured hearing Kieran''s answer. No matter how savage the Moore family was, they didn''t dare to go to Kieran.
Nicole said, "A few days ago, Uncle Stefan returned to Luxford. When I came here, I contacted him. He''s going to Northridge directly tomorrow morning.
"Kieran, I know we owe you and L, but we need to resolve Moore family''s issue. But Ms. Moore has indeed saved you. I had someone look into the news on the Inte, and it''s true that the Moore family has pushed the news."
Nicole disliked the disinfectant smell in the hospital, especially since there was an earthquake today and many victims were sent here.
In the corridors, the emergency rooms, in front of the wards, and even outside were filled with sobbing sounds. It made Nicole feel stuffy.
"Nicole, we''re family. There''s no such thing as implicating us."
With a gentle voice, Kieranforted, "I''m thinking of a way to resolve Moore family''s matter. You and Alfredo can rx. Your health is most important.
"You don''t need to worry about what the people on the Inte say. Since Faith has helped me, I''ll send an appropriate token of gratitude. It''s not to be confused with the unreasonable demands of the Moore family."
Nicole sighed. "This matter shouldn''t affect you and L''s rtionship. You two have gone through so many difficulties to get together. It''s time for all the hardships toe to an end."
"I''ll handle the discharge paperwork. You should have other matters to attend to. When Yasmin wakes upter, if she''s willing to go with us, I''ll bring her back to Northridge first. Now that I''ve confirmed you and L are alright, I''m rest assured."
Kieran nodded and handed Nicole the paperwork before turning around and heading over to Faith''s ward.
In the other ward, L was taking a nap next to the bed. Sensing that someone
was touching her hand, she opened her eyes in shock. Yasmin was looking at her timidly.
"I''m sorry. Did I scare you?" L asked gently.
Yasmin shook her head.
"Is there anything you need?"
"Yeah." Yasmin nodded.
"Do you want to drink water, or are you hungry? Do you want to use the
restroom?" L asked, but Yasmin shook her head.
A while of silenceter, Yasmin asked, "Where''s Mom?"
L clenched her fists and rxed. She repeated these actions a few times but ended up clenching them again.
"She..."
"Did she go to a ce far away like Dad?" Yasmin was only three years old, yet she was so mature.
L recalled what Kieran had said. Yasmin''s father passed away a long time ago. Her mother must have told her that her father had gone to a ce far away.
L pursed her lips. A whileter, she nodded. "Yeah. She went to a faraway ce."
"At what age can I see her?" Yasmin blinked her eyes as she asked, confused.
"Ten years old."
Yasmin blinked her eyes and slowly counted her fingers. "I''m three years old now, I can see Dad after seven years. What about Mom? How long do need to wait until I can see Mom?"
L pursed her lips and thought about it for a while. "Like your father. You can see her when you''re ten years old."
Yasmin blinked her eyes, trying her best to understand everything. Then, she smiled. Her tone became lighter. "That''s great. I knew Mom loved me. The time she left is shorter than Dad''s."
Yasmin''s words made L tear up. L reached out to rub Yasmin''s soft cheeksz "Do you want toe with me? Do you want to live with me like how you lived with your mother in the past?"
Yasmin tilted her head. It was obvious she didn''t understand L''s words. "Earn
money like Mom and send me to kindergarten?"
As no one cared about Yasmin and her mother, her mother had to work to earn money while taking care of Yasmin. Her mother had a tough life.
