"Do you like the new cat tree?" Kieran had arranged for another new cat climbing frame to be delivered.


    Vermilion Estate was much more spacious than Evergreen Heights, withrger, brighter floor-to-ceiling windows. Nova was sitting by the window, looking outside, her little tail flicking asionally. She seemed to really like the new ce.


    Kieran set down some cat food and filled her water bowl before turning to ask L to take a shower. "I''ll go grab my clothes," she responded with a smile.


    "I''ve already put them in the bathroom."


    L froze for a moment. "Everything''s there?"


    "Yep."


    "Doesn''t that mean... he touched my undergarments too?" she wondered. "K-Kie


    Kieran chuckled lightly andpleted her sentence. "Kieran."


    L nodded.


    "If you have something to say, we can talkter. Go take a shower first." He gently patted her head, as if she were Nova.


    L hurried over to the bathroom. She looked at the neatly arranged pajamas and pulled at the bottom a little. Her undergarments were carefully tucked inside. It was almost too obvious...


    After her shower, Kieran dried her hair before heading off to the bathroom. When he emerged, L was already a little dazed. He turned off the lights, slid under the covers, and pulled her into his arms, just like always.


    "Are you that tired?"


    L mumbled, "I''m okay."


    Even though they had moved, she hadn''t done much, so she wasn''t physically tired; she just wanted to sleep. Kieran chuckled, holding her closer, and didn''t say anything more, letting her drift off.

    The next morning, L woke up alone in bed. The housekeeper greeted her warmly when she went downstairs. "Good morning, Mrs. Morgan. Would you like to have breakfast now?"

    "Mr. Morgan went to the office. He told me not to disturb your rest and that you can eat whenever you''re ready."

    Group, Kieran had his hands full, so for the next few days at Vermilion Estate, it was just L and the housekeeper. On the seventh day after Amelia''s passing, L woke up early and went with Kieran to the Morgan residence.


    From there, the Morgans went to the cemetery together, which wasn''t far from where L''s parents were buried. After paying their respects to Amelia, Kieran stayed with L as she visited her parents'' grave.


    Nicole and the others went straight to the Morgan residence, just as the photos they had taken a few days ago were developed. Carol was showing them to everyone when Jasmine noticed the two pictures in L''s hand-one of her parents and one of Amelia. It was a picture of their family, all together.
