Mirabe''s attention was finally drawn back when Zane mentioned the patent. She sounded slightly surprised, "That fast?"
If her memory served her correctly, from review to receiving the certificate, it should take at least a year or two.
"Who doesn''t have connections these days?" Zane''s face was still beaming with a smile.
He was already handling correspondence with the person in charge at DO Group. Once Mr. Calvin brought back the authorization letter, they could schedule the coboration.
Even through the phone screen, Mirabe could feel Zane''s good mood and couldn''t help but raise an eyebrow and casually congratte him.
"By the way, have you looked over the documents I sent you?" Zane brought up the matter at hand.
"I nced over them," Mirabe replied slowly, "They do seem a bitplex and profound."
Hearing Mirabe''s evaluation, Zane paused for a moment before asking, "Do you think this project is very challenging?"
Holding her phone, Mirabe saw Marian calling her for breakfast and turned to walk to the dining room, replying to Zane, "It''s manageable, depending on the actual needs of DO Group."
"The actual needs?" Zane didn''t quite grasp what she meant.
Mirabe slowly stirred her bowl of oatmeal, hummed softly, and didn''t exin further, "Let''s discuss the specifics after you''ve talked to them."
Seeing this, Zane nodded. Just then, his phone vibrated, showing an iing call.
Zane nced at it, seeing it was Mr. Calvin calling, and promptly told Mirabe, "Alright, let''s leave it here for now. I need to take this call, and we''ll touch baseter if there''s anything."
With that, he tapped his phone and answered Mr. Calvin''s call. Mirabe raised her eyebrows and put down her phone.
After a moment, she picked up her phone again, switched it to airne mode, and looked up to tell Marian, "I''ve got a headache. I''m nning to rest at home today, no going out or seeing anyone."

After Zane took Mr. Calvin''s call, he drove to the university.
By the time he arrived at around ten o''clock, he dropped his briefcase off at his
office and then made his way to Mr. Calvin''s office without stopping.
Mr. Calvin was on the phone when Zane arrived, waiting until the call was finished before entering.
"Mr. Calvin," Zane greeted him politely with a nod.
Calvin hummed in acknowledgment, then without much ado, pulled open a drawer, took out the authorization letter, and ced it on the desk, "Here''s what you wanted."
After saying this, he moved back to hisputer and started typing, seemingly very busy.
Knowing that the semester was about to start and the department indeed had a lot to handle, Zane wisely chose not to disturb him further.
He picked up the authorization letter from the desk, ready to leave.
However, as he turned and took a few steps, ncing down at the authorization letter, he abruptly stopped.
Looking at the content of the authorization letter, Zane''s brows furrowed tightly. This was not the authorization letter he had provided.
Turning back, Zane approached the desk again, disregarding everything else, and directly said, "Mr. Calvin, this authorization letter''s content... Why isn''t it the one I gave you before?"
Facing Zane''s question, Calvin didn''t even look up, his gaze fixed on theputer screen, "This is the correct authorization letter. Mr. Belcher personally approved it."
Zane paused, Mr. Belcher
personally approved it? But the project is a research achievement of our department. Now, this
Qu
authorization letter only gives us the right to discuss it, not ownership. That doesn''t make any sense, does it?"
