Chapter 1461

Paul knew it was impossible for there to be no one watching outside, and given his current state, he had no means to resist. Taking Rea with him would only make things more difficult, ultimately preventing either of them from escaping.

He didn''t mind being captured, but Rea was still young.

"Go," Paul said, struggling to raise his hand, trying to give Mirabe a push.

"You''re not going anywhere today," Santos sneered, his people surrounded the ce, and even if they fell for Cian''s trick, escape was still out of the question.

Mirabe nced at Santos with annoyance.

She kicked him away, then once again helped Paul up, sighing softly, "Morgan, you''re still the same as ever."

Hearing this, Paul''s eyes reddened even more.

Mirabe helped him sit down on a chair, "Since I''vee, there''s no way I''d leave empty-handed."

Looking at her, Paul saw her calm demeanor, and his underlying worries strangely began to dissipate.

Concern leads to chaos, and knowing Rea''s character, she certainly wouldn''t act rashly.

Santos, who was kicked to the ground, had his hand on his chest. He looked at Mirabe, who was now standing with her back slightly turned to him. His hand, slipping into his jacket, had already touched the gun.

However, Mirabe, as if foreseeing his move, turned around and kicked his wrist just as he drew the gun, causing it to fly out of his hand and fall to the ground.

Santos''s pupils shrank, watching as Mirabe picked up the gun, and he found himself unable to muster any strength. His phone fell out of his pocket, but he didn''t care, just coldly staring at Mirabe, "If you dare touch me, we''ll all go down together today."

Paul, worried, called out to Mirabe, "Rea."

But Mirabe just smiled, walked over to Santos, slowly crouched down, and with the gun''s muzzle, lifted his chin to look at his face, then spoke, "I''m thest person to be threatened."

Santos''s eyes showed no fear, only madness, "Then let''s see if you''re tougher or the safety of all these people at the airport is more important."

He was gambling with the lives of the passengers at the airport.

    Mirabe scoffed, "You''re overestimating yourself."

She picked up the phone that had slid out of Santos''s pocket, which was hers.

The phone was off, and she pressed and held the power button. As soon as it turned on, several notifications popped up.

    Missed calls.

    From James, Wyatt, and As.

Mirabe skimmed through the calls; it had been four hours since she disappeared, and these calls

were all from about four hours ago.

It was normal for As to call, but what did James want?

Pondering, Mirabe decided to call As back first to let him know she was alright.

"Miss Mira, where are you now?" As finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly asked.

Mirabe simply said, "I''ll send you my location."

    "Okay."

Soon after As received a location

sent from Mirabe via Messenger. After seeing it, he quickly said, "Stay there, I arrange for someone from our team to pick you up in about five minutes."

The Davis family had a private jet line in the area.

After hanging up the call, Mirabe calmly pulled another chair over to sit down,

her fingers casually spinning the gun.

Seeing this, Santos''s heart sankpletely. When he tried to speak again, his gaze fell on the nec that had slipped out from the cor of her shirt.

    His eyes suddenly sharpened.
