    Instead, it was Miles who sent a message in their group chat.


    Miles tagged everyone and asked, "Come on, hurry up and tell me, what ns do


    you haveter tonight? Want to go out and have some fun together?"


    Beck replied quickly. "No ns. How do you want to arrange it?"


    "That''s exactly what I was waiting for!"


    He then tagged Trevor and Wynn. "What about you two?"


    Wynn saw the message but didn''t reply. She was waiting for Trevor to respond first.


    At that moment, after reading the messages, Trevor picked up his phone and replied. "I''m eating at the Rodriguez family''s ce right now. Not sure about ns for tonight yet—it depends on Jo."


    The moment his message was sent, both Beck and Wynn, who were looking at their screens, froze for a second.


    Neither of them had expected Trevor to be spending New Year''s at the Rodriguez family''s home this year.


    Miles, meanwhile, reacted instantly, firing off a string of question marks and exmation points to show his shock.


    "????!!!! Wait—you''re at the Rodriguez family''s ce right now?"


    "Yes."


    Before Miles could say anything else, Trevor sent another message. "Still eating, not convenient to chat. Have fun tonight."


    After replying, he exited the chat, put his phone away, and continued eating.


    It took Miles a long moment toe back to his senses.


    "Trevor really is—"


    For a moment, he didn''t even know how to finish the sentence.


    Should he say that Trevor doted on Jordyn to an extreme, that he was even willing


    to spend New Year''s at the Rodriguez family''s home just for her sake?

    He then began discussing the time and ce for going outter with Beck.

    Like Miles Beck also assumed that Wynn had already known about Trevor spending New Year''s at the Rodriguez family''s home and that it really was just for Jordyn''s sake.


    He actually wanted to do what Caleb and Kieran had done-call Celeste and take the initiative to ask her out.


    But given his current rtionship with her as neither a friend nor someone who had confessed his feelings, he didn''t even have the standing to make that call.


    Seeing Miles''s messages in the group chat, he suppressed those thoughts, lowered his head, and typed out a reply.


    Elsewhere, Wynn sent a private message to Trevor. "You and Jo went to the Rodriguez family''s ce for New Years? Jo must be really happy. Also, Happy New Year."


    Trevor saw the message and replied, "Happy New Year."


    That was all-no extra words.


    Yet Wynn smiled.
