Coleman continued, "Besides that, is there any direct evidence proving Joshua kidnapped you?"
Aurora opened her mouth, the humiliating memories shing through her mind. But she suddenly realized she had no concrete proof at all. Her word alone was not enough.
Just like when Ste had used Leonard of kidnapping her.....
At that thought, Aurora first froze, then suddenly burst intoughter.
The three Williams men were startled by her suddenughter and stared at her, stunned.
Skyler asked with concern, "Aurora, are you all right?" He turned and quickly called out, "Doctor!"
Skyler was beginning to think that Aurora''s mind had genuinely been broken by the ordeal.
Aurora quickly stoppedughing and said to Skyler, "Joshua will do anything to avenge Ste. When Ste was kidnapped by Leonard, Leonard intentionally denied it. So, this time, Joshua deliberately kidnapped me to get revenge for Ste."
Coleman gazed at Aurora''s cold eyes, his own expression deepening.
He suddenly felt that the sister before him was aplete stranger. Ste had changed a lot, and it seemed Aurora''s transformation was just as significant. These two incidents had caused a seismic shift in Aurora''s mentality.
Since there was no real evidence, and the Williams family had already suffered several setbacks at Joshua''s hands, they had no choice but to drop the matter for
now.
Before leaving Aurora''s room, Coleman nced back at her onest time.
Aurora was sitting by the bed, staring nkly out the window.
For some reason, Coleman had a feeling that this time, Aurora would not let it go.

The next day, Sellers Burton came to the Williams estate to visit Aurora.
Sellers had heard about what happened to Aurora in the Delta from Queenie Burton. While he found it regrettable for someone like him who grew up in Solmans with à modern education, it wasn''t a catastrophic event.
If anything, Aurora''s ordeal—and her calm, decisive, and daring response-made
him admire her even more.
Knocking on her door, Sellers saw
Aurora sitting by the bed, reading a
book. Her hair was down, and she wore no makeup. Evenpletely barefaced, she was stunningly beautiful in a league of her own.pared to women who wouldn''t
dare be seen without cosmetics. She didn''t look overly worn down by her recent experiences.
For some reason, Sellers thought Aurora was even more beautiful than before, possessing an allure she hadn''t had previously.
Sensing his presence, Aurora looked up and gave Sellers a faint smile. "Sellers, you''re here."
Sellers snapped back to reality and walked over. "Aurora, are you okay?" Aurora lowered her head slightly. "Thank you for asking, Sellers. I''m fine." Sellers looked at her. "What happened this time? Who kidnapped you?"
Aurora recounted the story of her abduction by Joshua in detail.
At the mention of Joshua''s name, Sellers frowned reflexively, his eyes filled with a deep loathing. "Him again."
Joshua had managed to offend nearly all the major families in his quest to help Ste. The problem was, he was reckless and left them with no way to retaliate.
Aurora said, "I heard from my
brother that Joshua is currently relocating his businesses. Once he
establishes a foothold in Solmaris, it
will be a disaster for all of us. By the way..."
Aurora looked up at Sellers. "During the time I was held by Joshua, I discovered something."
Sellers asked, "What is it?"
Aurora''s gaze turned chilling as she enunciated each word. "Something is wrong with Joshua''s condition."
