Leonard picked up his phone and opened his chat history with Ste.


    During the time she had him blocked, he had read through these messages countless times.


    He wasn''t very good at chatting, and even worse at finding topics of conversation.


    Every time he messaged Ste, he had to think for a long time first.


    Sometimes, she was busy with work and would reply muchter.


    Other times, she would tell him directly that she was busy and didn''t have time to talk.


    As a result, even though they had been talking for over six months, their chat history wasn''t actually that long.


    He could read through it all in a short amount of time each day.


    Once, he had talked with Ste every day. Now, all he could do was endlessly scroll through their old conversations. To Leonard, these memories were a slow-acting poison, yet he couldn''t stop himself from swallowing every drop.


    Especially after seeing Ste and Joshua being so intimate, Leonard was nearly driven mad with jealousy.


    The door to his hospital room was knocked, and Simone Lerman came in to visit him.


    "Leonard, are you feeling any better?"


    After finishing with his chat history, Leonard logged into his email on his phone and started scrolling through it.


    Simone was already used to this sight.


    She felt that Leonard''s feelings for Ste were different from how he''d been with Aurora.

    Towards the end, Simone seemed to remember something and abruptly fell silent.

    "Leonard, have you found Aurora?"

    "Then how do you know she''s in the Delta?" Simone asked.


    Leonard said, "The smuggling ship was headed for the area around the Delta."

    It dawned on Simone. "So Aurora was smuggled out? Leonard, when did you find this out?"
