    Almost as a form of self-torture, he spent his days observing their every move. He wanted to see just how good Ste would be to Joshua. The feeling was like twisting the knife in his own wound.


    Coleman burst into the hospital room, demanding angrily, "Ste, where did you take Aurora?!"


    The sudden intrusion was like a ssh of cold water, snapping Ste back to reality. She shoved Joshua away, an inexplicable sense of shame washing over her as if she''d been caught in the act.


    Joshua stumbled back a few steps, his gaze turning icy and hostile as he looked at Coleman.


    Ste took several deep breaths, gradually calming down. She didn''t dare to look in Joshua''s direction. "Take her? Aurora is my blood rtive. Why would I do something like that?"


    Her response left Coleman speechless for a few seconds before he let out a coldugh. "Blood rtive? Ha, Ste, stop pretending. When have you ever treated Aurora like family?"


    Ste smiled faintly. "That''s a strange thing to say. If I didn''t see you as family, why would I havee back to the Williams family at all?"


    Coleman retorted coldly, "Because you''re greedy for the Williams family fortune!"


    "I''m greedy for the fortune, I admit it," Ste said. "If Jonathan and you aren''t, then transfer your shares to me. If Aurora isn''t, she can leave The Williams Group. If you do that, I''ll be the first to admit how noble and morally superior you all are."


    Colemanughed, angered by her shamelessness. "You think we''re going to hand over our shares just because you call us noble? Ste, you might as well just rob us outright."


    He paused, as if remembering something. "Don''t try to change the subject, Ste. Tell me right now, where did you take Aurora?"


    "What? Is Aurora missing?" Ste asked.


    "She disappeared aftering to this hospital," Coleman said coldly. "Are you telling me this has nothing to do with you?"


    Ste pressed, "So, she came to this hospital to see me, or to see Joshua?"


    Coleman was at a loss for words.


    Ste recalled seeing Leonard at the hospital not long ago and had a good idea of what had happened. "You don''t bother investigating thest person Aurora saw, but instead youe here toxinterrogateme Coleman, I''m starting to suspect you''re deliberately wasting time here, hoping something happens to Aurora so you can divide up her shares."


    Coleman was so furious he couldn''t speak.


    He knew the likelihood of Ste kidnapping Aurora was low, but he couldn''t say the same for Joshua. Coming here to question Ste was merely a way to probe both of them. Jonathan had already gone to find Leonard, while Skyter was contacting King Wright''s people.


    The chances of Leonard kidnapping Aurora were also slim. The most likely culprits were Joshua and Wright. However, Joshua had just returned from Germany and was injured, he probably didn''t have the energy to orchestrate a kidnapping. Besides, he had just started a


    partnership with the Williams family,


    so he had no reason to abduct Aurora.
