    The projector was on, casting the room in dim light. The man''s face was obscured by the flickering light and shadows from the screen.


    "She looks beautiful when she ys the violin," Leonard said.


    Simone froze. She wasn''t sure if he was talking about Aurora or Ste. But either way, she wasn''t happy about it.


    The room fell silent, the only sound being the violin music echoing through the space.


    After a while, Simone asked, "Leonard, do you regret it?"

    "Leonard, I heard Aurora got in with the Wright family''s princess at the party yesterday..." Simone said. "Everyone in our circle is talking about it, praising how brave Aurora is. That Princess Wright has a brother, and rumor has it he''s very impressed with Aurora''s life-saving gesture..."


    Before Simone could finish, Leonard cut her off coldly.

    Simone nodded and turned to go.


    As the door was closing, she nced back at Leonard. Out of nowhere, a picture of Ste as Leonard''s wife shed through her mind. Simone shuddered. Was she going crazy, just like him?

    Ste''s videos on a loop every day probably wasn''t a good sign.


    Simone weighed her options between Ste and Aurora. If she had to choose one of them to be Leonard''s wife, she would choose Ste.
