Damn it. The Gardners really were all nuts.
Jonathan knew Joshua was deliberately toying with Coleman.
And as for Coleman... he was no match for Joshua at all.
He stepped forward. "Coleman, don''t waste your time with him. Let''s go."
Joshua was so unppable that Coleman was at a loss. He stopped trying to argue with Joshua and left with Jonathan.
They waited for Aurora in Jonathan''s office.
About half an hourter, Aurora arrived.
Coleman went up to her. "How did it go? What did Dad say?"
Aurora sighed. "Father is still furious that we hid this from him. However, the matter of the founding shares has always been a thorn in his side. He probably won''t side with Ste that easily. But from the way he spoke, it''s clear he admires Ste''s abilities and methods. I suspect..."
Aurora trailed off, hesitating.
Jonathan prompted her, "Aurora, what are you trying to say?"
"If Ste grits her teeth and offers to trade the original shares for the position of heir
to The Williams Group, Father might..... just agree," Aurora said, looking up at Jonathan.
"When Ste had no power, Father naturally wouldn''t have considered her. But now, after more than a year back at The Williams Group, she''s not only secured her position but also achieved remarkable results. She has just as many shareholder supporters as you do, Jonathan. If Ste makes that demand, Father will definitely consider it.
"And if she really bes the heir, the original shares she returns will eventually end up back in her hands anyway. It means she''d get the position of heir without giving up anything. If she bes the heir, we''ll all have to live by her rules from now on."
The office fell silent.
Jonathan had been raised as the heir since childhood. He couldn''t ept someone hijacking his position at thest minute, all his hard work benefiting someone else.
Coleman had always been proud and had never respected Ste since she returned to the Williams family. The idea of having to answer to her was equally uneptable to him.
Seeing their expressions, Aurora lowered her gaze, hiding the glint in her eyes.
She continued, "I can try to persuade Father again, but even if he''s on our side, the shareholders of The Williams Group probably wont pass up a freebie. Jonathan, Coleman, I''ll follow your lead on what to do next."

Aurora soon left Jonathan''s office, leaving him and Coleman to discuss their strategy.
Back in her own office, Aurora made a phone call.
"Joshua''s back."
The person on the other end was silent for a few seconds before replying, "It seems things are going just as you predicted. Now, we just have to watch the Williams family and Ste tear each other apart. It won''t be easy to fish in troubled waters if they don''t start fighting. However, if you really can''t take control of the Williams family, destroying it is also an option."
Aurora stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, looking down at the bustling traffic below.
She chuckled softly. "Uncle, if I destroy the Williams family, you won''t have the luxurious life you enjoy today. And the sacrifice my mother made would be meaningless."
The other end went quiet.
A momentter, the voice said, "The
three Williams brothers are hypocrites. They''re clearly using you but im to treat you like family. It
wont be easy to get what you want from them."
