Israel hesitated. It was true. Trading his ten percent ofmon stock for Ste''s ten percent of founding shares wasn''t just a fair deal; it was a massive win for him.
Perhaps because he''d suffered so many losses at Ste''s hands before, he found himself inexplicably hesitant. He eyed Joshua warily. "Your word doesn''t count. Ste has to agree to it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Ste''s voice followed. "I can do that."
Israel studied her expression closely but found nothing out of the ordinary. Still, he wasn''t one to be easily taken in. "You said this yourself, in front of all the
shareholders. No one forced you. Don''te backter saying I pressured you into it and that the transfer isn''t valid."
Ste nodded. "OK."
Israel still felt it wasn''t secure enough. "In that case, state for everyone to hear that you are voluntarily transferring and selling the shares to me. That way, everyone here is a witness. You have no objection to that, do you?"
He was *buying* the shares; there would be a solid transaction record. With so many witnesses, it would be impossible for Ste to renege. At this moment, Israel was actually grateful Joshua had brought it up. Otherwise, knowing Ste''s cunning and shamelessness, she might have backed out at thest minute. Now, with a transaction record and so many people watching, it wouldn''t be so easy for her to go back on her word.
Ste nodded again. "No objections."
Israel thought for a moment, then addressed the camera. "Everyone saw that, right? Ste is doing this of her own free will. I did not threaten her. She had a choice between two options, and she could have chosen the shares. But she didn''t. Since she gave them up herself, she can''t me anyone else."
At Israel''s request, Ste quickly made a statement confirming that she was voluntarily selling the shares to him.
Afterward, Israel called for someone to bring the agreements. There were three documents in total: a founding share transfer agreement amon stock transfer agreement and a final equity transaction agreement between the two of them.
Withwyers and the entire board of directors of The Williams Group as witnesses,
they both signed all three agreements.
Watching Ste sign all the
documents, Israel finally felt a wave
of relief wash over him, quickly followed by a surge of pure tion. What wasmon stock? With these founding shares, he would not only be a major shareholder in The Williams Group but also hold decision-making power in several cutting edge techpanies. He could expand his influence, build his own empire. Thepanies he would control would be no less formidable than The Williams Group itself. So what if he wasn''t the heir to the Williams family? Even without inheriting the family business, he could still achieve greatness.
The thought filled Israel with a rush of ambition and excitement.
After the agreements were signed,
Israel reviewed them onest time to ensure everything was in order, then nodded with satisfaction. had truly hit the jackpot this time. As they say, fortune favors the bold.
"Can we go now?" Ste asked.
Israel''s mind was no longer on Ste and Joshua.
He waved them off absently. "Go on, then. Out."
Not long after they left, Coleman and Aurora came to find Israel. He was practically over the moon, humming a tune with his head bobbing, bursting with so much pride he could barely contain it.
Coleman and Aurora exchanged a look.
Frowning at Israel''s triumphant expression, Coleman said, "Israel, don''t you think this all went... a little too smoothly?"
