    Joshua lowered his gaze, pretending to consider it for a moment. "But... Star doesn''t seem to have any romantic feelings for me."


    Seeing her opening, Lynne grew excited. "If there are no feelings, then we have to cultivate them! Come on, Joshua, we have to step it up. Otherwise, Star will be swept off her feet by Neville Connolly or Haynes O''Brien!"

    Just as Lynne was about to borate, Ste finished her call and started walking back to the table.

Next, all I have to do is use Ste as bait, and I''ll have him right where I want him. Ste is the person he cares about most, so she''s the obvious weak point. Aurora''s approach was all wrong.     Lynne was supremely confident in herself. Unlike Aurora, she was willing to do whatever it took. No man she had ever set her sights on had managed to escape her grasp. She had a whole arsenal of tricks, including pretending to help a man pursue another woman.
