At the local kindergarten, Marvin was having the time of his life.

Everywhere he went, he was met with eyes full of admiration from his ssmates.

He had be the local celebrity of his preschool.

"Marvin, Marvin! Was that beautifuldy performing with you your mom? She looked like a fairy!"

Marvin nced over at Keen, who stood fuming a short distance away, and puffed out his chest with pride.

"Not yet," he replied with a smirk.

A perceptive child overheard and piped up, "Not yet? So that means she will be soon?"

Marvin nodded with enthusiasm. "Ste''s getting divorced, and once she does, she''ll be my mom."

Several of the kids had parents who were divorced and knew exactly what that meant.

Hearing Marvin''s words, a few of their eyes widened with excitement.

"Really? I want a mom like that too!"

"Marvin, Marvin! My dad''s single now. Do you think you could introduce him to that prettydy?"

"Get outta here! Your dad''s ugly. That prettydy wouldn''t want him! Marvin, my dad''s handsome. She''ll definitely like him, and maybe I can get a cute little sister out of it!"

"Marvin, you liked my toy car modelst time, right? I''ll give it to you if you let me borrow the prettydy for a few days, okay?"

The kids gathered around Marvin, chattering away, each trying to secure the new mom for their dad.

Meanwhile, some kids whose parents weren''t divorced but weren''t exactly happy either looked on with envy.

"If Dad and Mom get divorced... do we get a new mom?"

These kids exchanged nces, whispering, "How about we go home tonight and ask our parents to split up?"

"Me too. After the divorce, I don''t want Dad or Mom. I want Marvin''s prettydy. She''s amazing, makes delicious food, looks beautiful, and can even y the violin..."

Marvin regrly shared photos of Ste''s homemade treats and meals on the kindergarten website. All the kids were aware that Marvin had a beautiful and talented woman in his life. Learning that she could also y the violin made those without affectionate parents incredibly envious.

A little girl hugged her doll tightly, dreaming aloud, "I wish I could have a mom like her. I''d be the happiest kid ever."

Keen, on the other hand, was struck like a bolt of lightning, his face turning pale. The mom he oftenined about was the one everyone else dreamed of having!
