?Chapter 1338:
“It’s a little low…” another mumbled.
“Low? Ellis has pulled his fair share of stunts against us. It’s payback,” someone replied.
“Let’s go for it. It’s within the rules, and Ellis has bent them plenty of times. Our turn to use them in our favor.”
“Agreed!”
And with that, the decision was made. The two techs rubbed their necks awkwardly but went along with the n.

About five minutes in, Freya picked up on something strange.
Frederick caught it too.
“Why aren’t they attacking?” he muttered with a furrowed brow. “You think they’re nning to spring a trap on us like the one we used earlier—wipe us out in one go?”
“No,” Freya said firmly, not even pausing to consider it.
Her defense system had been locked tight from the start. If the other side so much as tried to make a move, her setup would catch it instantly andunch a pre-programmed counterstrike.
“They haven’t made a single move,” Freya confirmed after another nce, her voice calm andposed as ever. “Looks like they’re trying to dodge a fight altogether.”
Frederick paused in the middle of typing, brows pulled together in disbelief.
“Dodge a fight?”
People behind them had overheard.
Marlon muttered under his breath, “Didn’t think they’d actually try to y sneaky.”
“What now?” Michael’s voice held a worried edge as his eyes flicked toward Ellis. “You’re seriously gonna see us lose?”
“No rush,” Ellis said coolly, eyes still locked on Freya, who hadn’t so much as flinched.
His instincts told him one thing: Freya had a n.

“How are we supposed to stay calm right now?” Michael’s nerves were showing. “If you switch teams, what happens to us?”
“If they keep refusing to engage,” a tech piped up, “this match won’t end in an hour.”
Michael and Marlon both wore matching frowns.
After a short beat, Marlon stepped up beside Freya and lowered his voice. “Can you do something?”
“Hm?” Freya tilted her head slightly.
“If they don’t make a move,” Marlon rified, eyeing her screen, “can you still pull off a win?”
Freya didn’t hesitate. “Yes.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah.”
“Thank God!” He still looked unsure, but at least he wasn’t panicking anymore. “Go for it.”
