Chapter 2352

Freya choked. "Forrest, what do you mean?"

Forrest looked solemn. "Freya, you need to be clear that Ryan isn''t your blood- rted brother. Both of you are too close to each other. You''re around the same age as him. Besides, both of you are good-looking and excellent people, so it''s easy to have feelings for each other. I''m talking about the romantic feelings between a man and a woman."

Freya put down the spoon and said reluctantly, "Forrest, can you stop talking nonsense?"

As soon as she was done speaking, she looked down with a slight sense of guilt.

"I''m just reminding you," Forrest said, "If you hadn''t married Rodney, I believe the prime minister wouldn''t object to you being with Ryan. I can tell that they''re not the snobbish type. The thing is, you''re now the prime minister''s goddaughter and the e x-wife of Ryan''s cousin."

"Forrest, I really have no idea what you''re saying."

Freya was ruffled by his words, which kept hitting her temples like a hammer.

Those words hurt, but she did not want to face the situation.

At present, she nned to carry on with her life just like that.

Mr. Lynch frowned. "Forrest, how could your sister possibly be involved with Ryan? They know their circumstances very well." "Dad, you praised Ryanst night for being excellent, and so did mom. Personally, I admire Ryan very much as well. He''s the most outstanding man his age I''ve ever met. He''s handsome, chivalrous, and well-educated. Also, he''s particrly caring toward Freya. With that, of course, I''m worried..."

Forrest shot an indifferent nce at Freya. "Now that the two of them see each other every day, they might have difficulty controlling their feelings."

"Alright. I got it." Freya could not bring herself to listen to him anymore. "Forrest, can you stop harping on so early in the morning? Don''t forget how much Ryan has helped our family." "I''m just trying to remind you," Forrest replied pensively.

Not wanting to talk further, Freya had breakfast sulkily.

After breakfast, she headed upstairs to take the medicine.

At 11:00 a m., the Lynch family went to the hotel they had booked.

The Lynches had just moved to Canberra, so they had a limited social circle. Forrest had invited a few senior executives from hispany as well as some old friends and business partners in Canberra, whereas Freya invited Catherine, Shaun, and Eliza.

Although only seven to eight tables were set up, the guests showed up in a dignified manner.

Ryan arrived at 12-ish. The minute he came, he held Mr. Lynch''s hand and said courteously, "Mr. Lynch, my parents need to attend a state banquet, so I''m the only one who came. Happy housewarming."

"Thank you, Ryan. Your presence is more than enough." Mr. Lynch was touched. By saying that in full view of so many guests, Ryan had made the Lynch family look good.

Given that the business partners of Lynch Corporation were present today, the news of the housewarming banquet would spread shortly. In that case, it would be much easier for the Lynches towork with the wealthy families here. Additionally, other people would not make things difficult for Lynch Corporation.

Ryan nted himself beside Shaun. Just as the two of them were chatting, amotion suddenly arose in the banquet hall.

Freya turned her gaze to the door, only to find Rodney within sight. His hair had been trimmed, so he no longer looked as unkempt. He was holding a gift. He wore a suit and a pair of trousers, which made his physique look good.

However, as soon as the Lynch family caught sight of him, their faces turned grim.

Forrest was the first to walk up to Rodney and said coldly, "Young Master Snow, you came to the wrong ce. We didn''t invite you."

"I came on behalf of my parents." Rodney respectfully handed the gift to Forrest." Forrest, here''s a little something from my family."

Forrest furrowed his brows. If Rodney had shown up of his own ord, Forrest could chase him out straight away. Now that he came on the pretext of representing his parents, it was quite troublesome.

"Since the gift is from your parents, I''ll ept it. But you may leave now, Young Master Snow." Mr. Lynch walked up to Rodney and said nonchntly, "If your parents were here, I would definitely entertain them. But since it''s you, I''m sorry as I won''t be extending the same courtesy.''
