Chapter 764

After finishing the cheese fondue at Keira''s ce, Sky and Lincoln helped clean up before saying their goodbyes.

Ryan had already received a call after they started drinking and arrived as instructed. As soon as the two men stepped outside, Ryan got out and opened the car door. "Mr. Sky, Mr. Lincoln."

"Thank you, Ryan." Sky nodded slightly in thanks. "It''ste, but we had to trouble you to pick us up."

"It''s no trouble at all, Mr. Sky. It''s my job."

Once they were in the car, Ryan started the engine and quickly drove them home.

Back at the house, Sky took a shower, changed clothes, then sat on the balcony before pulling out his phone to call Natalie. The call connected after a few rings. "Hello, Sky." Natalie''s calm voice came through. "Are you not asleep yet?"

"Nat, am I disturbing your rest?" He suddenly regretted calling her at such ate hour. She was pregnant and needed her rest.

"No, I''m still up. I''m having ate-night snack."

She was indeed eating. Since she got pregnant, her appetite had improved, and she hadn''t suffered from any morning sickness. Ironically, Marcus had been the one vomiting.

He could barely eat anything, while she was happily devouring her food.

"Nat, I just wanted to thank you," Sky said gently. "I met Ms. Chesson. She told me you''d already paid her for the session. I honestly don''t know how to repay you."

"Sky, we''re family!" She chuckled. "You don''t need to repay me. You gave me such a generous wedding gift before. Besides, Keira is my friend. I helped her in the past, so when I asked for this favor, she didn''t hesitate to do it.

"So, how did you feel after meeting with her?"

Natalie was eating nachos. Marcus had warned her not to eat anything too spicy, so she ordered her nachos mildly spicy and tried not to overeat.

"I felt a lot lighter. I actually got some real sleep there no nightmares.

"Nat, how did you know about my situation even though you weren''t home?"

Natalieughed. "I asked Walter to pick you up. He''s been reporting back to me on how you''ve been doing. It wasn''t hard to figure out.

"Sky, we''re family. I''m doing great and really happy now, so I want the same for you guys.

"I''ve been having so much fun out here. Timothy and Mason are with me. But Mason''s heading back soon since his training camp will start soon.

"Timothy is on break, so he''s using this time to rx and travel with us. I''ll be back in a few more months. When I return, you''d better have a gift ready for your little nephew!"

"That''s a given." Skyughed. "Thanks, Nat."

"Don''t be so formal with me," she said with a smile. "How are Mom and Dad?"

"They''re doing well. Everything''s fine at home. Nat, if Marcus ever mistreats you, you better tell us."

"Of course!" Sheughed. "I''m no pushover. I''ve got five older brothers and my parents backing me up."

"Yeah, you''re right. Have fun, Nat. I won''t keep you."

"You have to be happy too, Sky," came Natalie''s quiet words.

"I will, I promise. Thank you."

    "Don''t mention it."

    "Well... I''ll hang up now."

    "Okay. Goodnight, Sky."

    "Goodnight."

After hanging up, Sky transferred some money to Natalie. He knew she wasn''t short on cash, but it was his way of showing his love as an older brother.

Natalie epted the money and sent back a little cartoon sticker that said, "Thank you, boss!"<fnfeb8> Readplete version only at find?novel</fnfeb8>

Seeing the sticker made himugh. Afterward, Sky gently ced his hand over his heart. For the first time in a while, he didn''t feel a crushing weight but warmth.

Natalie said they were family. She had been looking out for him ever since Walter came to pick him up from prison. She hadn''t med him or resented him.

Tears welled in his eyes. He was lucky he still had a family who loved and epted him after everything that happened.

He had a chance to start over and could still find happiness.

    "You will be happy, Sky."

He whispered the words into the night sky, then stood up and headed to his study to draw designs.

He was going to design his nephew''s room and yground himself.

He hadn''t been a great older brother before, but from now on, he was going to be

a good brother and an even better uncle.

Just like that, Sky''s story came to an end.

At Bluewater Bay, after ending the call with Sky, Natalie turned to see Marcus doubled over, still dry heaving.

She felt a little bad for him, but couldn''t helpughing. "Marcus, are you okay?" Marcus'' face was drained of color, and his usually striking features seemed even sharper from how much he''d been throwing up. "I''m fine. Don''t worry, Nat."

"If you want, I can get you some oatmeal," she said, popping another nacho into her mouth. "I hate seeing you like this."

He forced another smile. "No thanks. I don''t want anything. Nat, don''t feel bad for me. I''m the man. I can''t carry the baby for you but if I can take on the morning sickness, that''s at least something.  s

"When the timees for you to give birth, I hope you won''t feel any pain. I wish I could take on all of it myself."

With a pale face and a look of exhaustion, Marcus turned away and threw up again at the smell of the nachos as soon as he finished speaking.

Natalie pressed her lips together. She knew that when the rtionship between a couple was good, the man could experience pregnancy symptoms instead of the

    woman.

Still, it surprised her to experience it firsthand.

Even Timothy and Mason had started feeling bad for Marcus. They used to be a little wary of him, buttely, they''d been looking after him much more.

    "Hey, Marcus. Are you okay?"

Timothy walked over and gently patted his back. "If it''s this bad, should I get you something sour to help?"

"Thanks, Timothy, but I can''t eat anything."

After Marcus threw up, Timothy handed him a bottle of water. "Drink a little."

    "Thank you, Timothy."

"Mason''s heading back tomorrow. We still have a few ces left on our list to visit, but after that, Nat''s belly will probably be showing We''ll be heading home around then, What do you think?"  s

Marcus nodded. "I''m good with whatever Nat wants. She''s the priority here."

"Alright. I''ll check with herter, then."

"Timothy, I''m fine. Just don''t let Nat feel pressured about anything."

"Don''t worry. I''d pressure anyone else before I pressure my sister." Timothy

Marcus didn''t mind. He nodded as he said, "Thanks for your concern, Timothy."

Timothy patted him on the shoulder and walked back to sit across from Natalie Nat, Mason will leave tomorrow. Do you want to give him the gifts you bought for Mom and Dad so he can bring them home?"  s

Natalie nodded. "Yeah, I''ll get them ready and have him take them back."

"Timothy, don''t you want to go home and rest, too? You''ve been with us this whole time-it must be tiring."
