Sophia had imagined the gift Luna prepared for their first meeting to be cash, jewelry, or some kind of luxury item.

    "Mrs. Holt." Sophia turned around, looking at her anxiously. "This gift is too expensive."


    "It''s not expensive at all. Go open the door. After you and Zachary get married, you''ll live here. It''s a little distance away from us, but not too far. You have your own privacy here while still letting us take care of you. It''s just perfect!

    Vases filled with fresh, vibrant flowers were ced throughout the room.
