Chapter 633 Natalies Husband

Marcus held Natalie''s hand and walked toward Timothy. With utmost respect, he greeted him. "Hello, Timothy."

Timothy found Marcus''s respectful tone unsettling and weird. After all, when Emma was his fiancée, Marcus had always maintained a strictly business-like attitude toward them.

Forget about respect-there wasn''t even a trace of warmth.

"Timothy, I''m leaving Nat in your care," Marcus said with a smile. "I have no objections about you bringing her to a little gathering before the wedding, but I''d appreciate it if you could keep an eye on her."

He continued, "Please make sure she doesn''t drink too much. It''s dangerous for a woman when she drinks outside."

"Marcus, are you saying you don''t trust me?" Timothy stared at him. "If you''re worried, why don''t youe along?"

    "Sure! Thank you, Timothy."

This was what Marcus had been waiting for.

He immediately tightened his grip on Natalie''s hand and shed her an alluring smile. "Nat, I''m worried about you, so I''ll go with you guys."

Natalie was briefly stunned before replying, "Sure. One more person doesn''t make a difference."

"Mm." Having achieved his goal, Marcus could no longer suppress the smirk on his face.

Only then did Timothy realize he had fallen into Marcus'' trap. But since he had already agreed, there was no taking back.

    "Let''s go!"

    "Alright, let''s go!"

The three of them walked out the door. Timothy got into the driver''s seat while Marcus pulled Natalie toward the backseat.

Timothy immediately spoke up, "Nat, sit in front. You two really think I''m your chauffeur, huh?"

"Not at all." Natalie quickly got into the front passenger seat. She smiled at Timothy, "Thank you, Timothy."

Sitting in the backseat, Marcus just kept quiet.

Whatever. He wasn''t angry, nor was he jealous. After all, Natalie was his wife. From now on, she would be spending most of her time with him anyway.

The wedding had yet to take ce. Sure, they had gotten their marriage certificate, but it was because she was worried about Marcus'' mental state after Charles had passed away.

He hadn''t gone through the proper process before getting the marriage certificate, so it was understandable that the Walkers weren''t pleased.

Regarding this matter, he was at fault.

Marcus reflected on it. Even though he was wrong, he wouldn''t have changed a thing.

Timothy nced at Marcus through the rearview mirror. Marcus was wearing his tailored suit, sitting there elegantly. He was looking out the window with an unreadable expression.

Timothy wanted to say something to Natalie, but with Marcus in the backseat, he decided to keep his mouth shut.

The car left Holden Residence and cruised smoothly along the road. Half an hourter, they arrived at the club Celeste had booked.

    "Nat, we''re here."

Timothy parked the car and stepped out, wanting to walk around to open the door for Natalie. However, she pushed it open herself and stepped out.

As for Marcus, he also got out on his own. He nced up at the club''s name- Green Lake Club. It was one of Celeste''s businesses.

    "Let''s go!"

Timothy nced at Marcus and Natalie before leading them inside.

Marcus reached out a hand toward Natalie, and she smiled as she ced hers in his palm. Both of them followed behind Timothy as they entered the club.

The club had been fully reserved for the night, so there weren''t any other guests. The moment Natalie and Marcus walked in together, the room fell silent for a brief second.

Celeste''s gazended on Timothy, who rubbed his nose and said, "Marcus is worried about us getting Nat drunk, so I brought him along."

Celesteughed and said, "Mr. Holden, wee. Forgive us for ourck of hospitality. Please,e have a seat."

Marcus shot her a cool nce.

Today, he was here as Natalie''s husband, not as the president of Holden Group. So, he couldn''t say much about their actions. After all, Celeste was Natalie''s cousin.

"Hello, Celeste." Marcus greeted her as he walked over.

Celeste was so surprised that she identally choked on her own saliva and began coughing uncontrobly.

"Celeste, are you okay?" Natalie reached out and patted her back. "Marcus is just calling you the way I do. There''s nothing wrong with that, right?"

"No problem at all." Celeste''s face was flushed. "Come, take a seat."

Celeste snapped her fingers, and colorful beams flickered across the space. The music started ying as well.

She pulled Natalie up and said, "Nat, let''s dance!"

Natalie didn''t particrly enjoy dancing, but she didn''t want to disappoint Celeste.

Over the years, though Natalie and Celeste didn''t see each other often, Celeste would always transfer her some money or send her gifts during the holidays.

It didn''t matter whether Natalie wanted them or not. Celeste was determined to make her feel cherished.

The Kennedys treated Natalie well. Just like the Walkers, they had a loving and harmonious family, free from infighting.

Natalie had been thinking of visiting the Kennedys with Charlotte once she had some free time.

As Celeste pulled Natalie onto the dance floor, the others followed suit.

Everyone at the gathering was a familiar face. Mason and Olivia were also present. Both of them entered the dance floor and started dancing exuberantly.

Suddenly, Timothy stood up and grabbed Marcus.

"Come on, Marcus. Let''s dance with everyone."

Marcus didn''t know how to react. However, he couldn''t reject Timothy, so he had no choice but to join in.

By the time the song ended, Celeste dragged Natalie back to the couch. With a snap of her fingers, the staff brought out the liquor, fruit tters, and snacks.

"Nat, let''s sing!" Celeste shoved a microphone into Natalie''s hand. "What would you like to sing? I''ll queue the songs up for you."

Natalie shook her head. "Celeste, I can''t sing."

"If that''s the case, ask Marcus to sing!"

Celeste had already figured out that Marcus wouldn''t lose his temper tonight, nor would he stop them. This was a rare opportunity, and she was going to make the most out of it.

"Marcus, will you sing in my ce?"

Natalie passed the microphone to Marcus. Before he could answer, Shawn suddenly spoke up. "How about I sing on Ms. Walker''s behalf?"

Marcus'' gaze immediately locked onto Shawn.

Shawn remainedposed and smiled. "It just so happens that I really feel like

    singing."

"Shawn, stay out of this!" Celeste said. Even though she was smiling, her tone carried a clear warning. "Even though their wedding hasn''t taken ce yet, they have gotten their marriage certificate. You should be calling her Mrs. Holden. Her husband is right here? Why are you butting in?"

"Shawn, your agent just called. H? got you a role, and you''re joining the set tomorrow," Lincoln suddenly said. His tone was icy, and his sharp. "Call your agent to pick you up. Now."
