Chapter 615 Time for Elijah to Show Up

    ```text
    Marcus raised his brows slightly. Ever since he and Natalie got their marriage
    certificate, both had reduced their workload significantly, though they still had work
    to do.
    Now that he had pushed all his responsibilities onto Wesley, Marcus was
    essentially free. As for Natalie, she only spent a bit of time handling things online
    each day. Besides that, there wasn''t much else.
    These days, they were living a rxed and leisurely life, untouched by anything
    unpleasant. But now, because of Samuel, Natalie was angry. And if she was
    angry, Marcus naturally wasn''t happy either.
    He didn''t really want to get involved in Sophia''s affairs, but since his wife already
    had, Marcus had no choice but to get involved too. If Natalie went head-to-head
    with Samuel, he was worried she might get the short end of the stick.
    "Alright. Don''t worry, sweetheart. I''ll cuss him outter," Marcus agreed without
    hesitation. Then, he sent Elijah a message that read, "Come here immediately.
    Right now."
    "Yes, sir," Elijah replied.
    In less than two minutes, Elijah appeared in front of them.
    "Hello Mr. Marcus, Mrs. Holden, Ms. Sinir, and Mr. Holt." Elijah greeted them
    respectfully. "Mr. Marcus, you called for me. What would you like me to do?"
    Marcus looked behind him. "Samuel''s on his way. When he gets here, cuss him
    out."
    As soon as Elijah heard that, he knew this job was meant for him. He nodded like
    a pecking chicken. "Don''t worry, Mr. Marcus. I guarantee I''ll get it done."
    Natalie was rendered speechless. Sophia and Zachary exchanged a look, both
    speechless too.
    They had expected a stern talk, maybe a few sharp words-but sending Elijah?
    That was like bringing a methrower to a campfire.
    This wasn''t going to end with just hurt feelings. They might just leave Samuel
    traumatized. But then again, just imagining that scene was kind of satisfying.
    And Elijah, a grown man nodding so earnestly, was unexpectedly kind of cute.
    Not long after, Samuel arrived. His eyes swept first over Marcus, thennded on
    Natalie. Back in Amberton, Marcus had brought Natalie to the Remingtons''
    reunion banquet, so Samuel recognized her.
    But Natalie''s expression had been pleasant at the time. Now, it was ice-cold, like
    someone owed her millions of dors.
    "Marcus, Ms. Walker, hello," Samuel greeted them first, then looked at Zachary.
    "And this gentleman is?"
    "Zachary Holt, formerly Sophia''s psychologist. Now, her boyfriend," Zachary
    replied coolly. "Mr. Sinir, hello."
    Sophia''s heart skipped a beat at Zachary''s words. She looked at him. His
    expression was calm. Sensing his gaze, he turned and gave her a gentle smile.
    "Don''t worry. I''m here." Zachary reached over and ruffled her hair. He said to
    Samuel, "You are Sophia''s brother. Technically, I should address you respectfully.
    But I''m sorry that I can''t. I believe your character and morals are extremely
    questionable. I can''t ept you as a brotherly figure, and neither can Sophia."
    Samuel hadn''t even opened his mouth before Zachary hit him with a few sharp
    verbal blows.
    Hearing this, Elijah instantly realized that the man before them was Samuel, the
    target Marcus had assigned him.
    "If you were Sophia''s psychologist, then you should know that a psychologist is
    not allowed to fall in love with their patient," Samuel said coldly, eyes narrowing,
    "That''s why I quit," Zachary replied, equally cold. "And who are you to talk, Mr.
    Sinir? A brother who never cared about his sister has no right to judge anyone."
    "Exactly," Elijah cut in. "Samuel Sinir, right? Eldest son of the Sinir family.
    Always been a coward. The moment trouble hit home, you tucked your tail and
    ran off abroad.
    "Now, Ms. Sinir doesn''t acknowledge you-and rightly so. If the Sinir family
    had to acknowledge someone like you, it''d be doomed."
    Elijah held nothing back. "Look at you, all dressed up like some decent man, but
    the thing on your shoulders is a tumor!
    "You didn''te back for years, and now that you have, you make Sophia hate
    you! Mr. Sinir, you really are a failure of a human being."
    "And who are you? What do you have to do with the Sinir family''s business?"
    Samuel was so shaken by the barrage of insults that he almost lost it.
    "I went abroad because my mother
    arranged it. Sophia''s been living like
    a princess all these years, wearing
    silk and eating delicacies. She had
    everything, so why shouldn''t she
    acknowledge me as her brother?
    Why shouldn''t I be allowed back?
    "And if she were a decent person, how could she have been raped by a Walker
    family housekeeper? A broken, used-up bitch. Is she worth sticking your neck out
    for?"
    Zachary''s fistnded squarely on Samuel''s face with a loud bang.
    "You piece of trash. Shut that filthy mouth of yours."
    Sophia stood frozen, her eyes red again. Samuel had already said things like that
    to her over the phone, but now he said them in person too. This was unbelievable.
    Zachary went for another blow, but Marcus suddenly grabbed his arm. "Stop.
    Don''t hit him."
    "I can''t take this," Zachary said, his eyes bloodshot, fists clenched, veins bulging
    on the back of his hand.
    "I know," Marcus said calmly. "Shut the door. Elijah, it''s your time to show up."
    Elijah let out a loud hoot and charged at Samuel, fists and feet flying.
    Zachary watched Elijah work, then
    looked at Marcus'' calm face, at
    Natalie''s cold expression, and finally
    at Sophia behind him with red, teary
    eyes. He stepped back and pulled
    her into his arms.
    "You bastard Ungrateful brat. Your
    mom must''ve tossed your fetus and
    raised the centa instead!" Elijah
    roared as he beat Samuel
    mercilessly. A big man and trained
    bodyguard himself, he didn''t hold
    back.
    He didn''t just punch. He insulted with every hit.
    Elijah''s words came sharp and fast, each one more brutal than thest.
    "If you don''t need that mouth, donate it. There''s no point in keeping it when all it
    does is spit garbage.
    "Breath that foul? Did you lick the public toilet for fun?
    "Using a woman''s trauma to score points? Wow, you''re really doing men proud!
    "Honestly, someone like you deserves to be assaulted by Emma. Oh wait-you
    don''t even qualify as a man. You''re worse than an eunuch!"
    Elijah wasn''t just flirting insults, of course. His fistsnded just as hard. In no time,
    Samuel was a mess of bruises and blood.
    "Emma raping you would be too kind. You should be vited by sewer rats.
    "Let go! Stop!" Samuel shouted in pain, unable to fight back.
    "Marcus! We''ve been friends since we were kids! You''d let your people beat me?"
    Marcus'' deep, maic voice waspletely void of warmth. "Friends? Sorry. I
    don''t keeppany with scumbag like you.
    "Samuel, you''ve proven exactly what kind of ungrateful bastard you''ve be
    after all these years abroad."
