Chapter 1418

    ?Chapter 1418:

In therge hospital room, a man in his fiftiesy on the bed. His hair showed signs of graying, and even with his eyes shut, his powerful and intense aura was palpable. This man was clearly more than just an ordinary person.

The doctor, knowing who Norah was, shared all the details with her, even though he was uncertain about her expertise.

“Here are the Commander’s medical records and the notes from the time he’s been bedridden. The poison affecting him is exceptionally rare. We’re unable to identify it or devise a treatment.”

As the doctor ryed this information, Norah bowed her head to look through the documents, then stood beside the bed to examine the Commander.

As she leaned over to examine him closely, the figure on the bed began to thrash violently.

The doctor urgently called out, “Dr. Wilson, please step aside.”

He quickly grabbed a small bucket and gently pushed her aside.

The man on the bed shook uncontrobly, then suddenly became rigid. Momentster, he doubled over and expelled several mouthfuls of dark red blood.

He then reclined back on the bed. His breaths were shallower, and his skin was paler. He looked as though he had aged years in just moments.

With a steady hand, the doctor ced the bucket of blood under the bed and wiped the man’s mouth with a tissue. “This is another manifestation of the poison,” he exined. “The Commander has sudden episodes where he coughs up blood. Justst night around 7, it happened once.”

    Every journey starts at gα?ησν????s?c????

Norah thought deeply about the situation. Since being poisoned, he had fallen into aa and suffered from these violent bloody episodes. The poison remained undetectable and incurable.

“We’ve even called in top experts, but nothing has helped,” the doctor said, his voice heavy with disappointment. “All we can do is watch as the Commander’s condition deteriorates daily without any way to stop it.”

Norah stepped back and meticulously went through all the documentation on the poisoning once more.

Xenia remained quiet on the sidelines, aware that her skills were not applicable in this situation and careful not to interrupt their diagnosis. The attending doctor turned to Norah and asked, “Dr. Wilson, given your extensive experience, do you have any advice?”

Silence hung in the air. Only the sound of breathing could be heard as no one spoke.

Both the doctor and Xenia were struck by a wave of hopelessness. Was it possible that even the Supernatural Doctor had no solution?

A clear voice then broke the silence. “Maybe I should give it a shot.” Norah, revered as the Supernatural Doctor, was not only celebrated for her surgical prowess but also for her knowledge of diverse healing techniques.

Something about these symptoms resonated with her and stirred a faint sense of familiarity.

At her words, both the attending doctor and Xenia snapped their gazes toward her. Their expressions were a mix of shock and hope. “Really?”

Many doctors had retreated in defeat, overwhelmed by the Commander’s peculiar symptoms. In an era where medical technology was highly sophisticated, what kind of poison was elusive to even the most advanced machines?

Norah exined, “I’ll need to check some referencester, but for now, I can prescribe some medicine to stabilize the Commander’s condition.”
