Chapter 1394

    ?Chapter 1394:

“Boss, you seem… extra cheerful today. What happened? A big win over the weekend?”

Sean cleared his throat and leaned back in his chair, exuding confidence. “Ahem, Frank,e over here. I’ve got an announcement to make. Draft a notice for me, will you? I have some great news recently, and I’m in a fantastic mood—everyone’s sry will go up by five hundred this month.”

Frank froze, almost dropping his phone. “Five hundred?!” He mentally calcted the sheer number of employees under Sean’s management and felt his jaw go ck. “Mr. Scott, you’re incredibly generous. I will proceed as you instructed. By the way, congrattions!”

Frank couldn’t help wondering what kind of news could put his boss in this good of a mood. He silently hoped for more of it—imagine the benefits if Sean had reasons to celebrate every day!

The news spread through the Scott Group like wildfire. Employees across every branch erupted into cheers upon receiving the announcement.

Their group chats buzzed with messages, all wishing their boss endless good fortune and good news every day.

Back at home, Susanna, unable to contain her excitement, called Norah. Her voice brimmed with amusement as she said, “Norah, you won’t believe how ecstatic the employees are right now. Thepany chats are going crazy with congrattions for Sean! Some are even jokingly praying he stays this happy forever so their paychecks keep growing. Ha ha!”

Norah chuckled softly on the other end of the line. “Is that all? I thought he’d be so thrilled he’d be jumping for joy.”

Susannaughed, leaning back against the sofa. “Oh,e on, even this is a lot. If he were jumping for joy, what kind of chaos would that bring?”

    ???? ??????? ?? ?????????.???

Norah’s voice took on a teasing tone. “Why don’t you ask Sean to show you? It might be worth augh.”

“No, no, I just upset him today. I wouldn’t dare push my luck right now.”

After a bit more small talk, Norah hung up the phone. Even after the call ended, her heart remained buoyant with joy.

Weddings always carried a unique kind of happiness. No matter whose wedding it was, the atmosphere of love and celebration had a way of lifting everyone’s spirits.

Her own past marriage might have ended in failure, but it didn’t dampen her optimism. What truly mattered wasn’t the ceremony itself but the person one chose to stand beside.

Life was full of diverse people, each with their quirks and ws. Finding someone perfectly aligned with your soul was an incredibly rare thing. And even then, wasn’t there often some hidden agenda behind such wlesspatibility?

Even the most devoted couples had their fair share of bumps in the road. Building asting rtionship required time—a gradual process of learning and adapting to each other’s rhythms. Theforting thought was that she and Sean had already made it through that delicate phase. They’d found their bnce, and it was something worth treasuring.

Norah understood perfectly—if she were to marry anyone, Sean would undoubtedly be the best choice.

That evening, when she arrived at Wilson Manor, Calvin intercepted her in the hallway, his expression serious.

Clearing his throat, he asked, “Don’t you have something to tell me?”
