?Chapter 1355:
As Norah caressed the piano, a rush of memories from her days of amnesia swept over her. Those were simpler times, with Amy by her side. But now, everything had changed. Amy was gone forever.
“I can y the piano, but my skills are no match for a master like you, Ka,” Norah admitted.
She had looked into Ka’s background. The awards and des Ka had earned were something only truly gifted pianists could achieve.
Norah, on the other hand, was just a beginner in the world of piano, having gained a bit of international recognition through her own self-taught efforts.
“Norah, don’t downy your skills. I was at the Bellfolk Piano Competition, and your performance was excellent. You just needed a bit more emotion,” Ka assured her.
With that, she took a seat at the piano, opened the lid, ced her hands on the keys, and tested the sound. Soon, her fingers glided across the keys, producing a string of notes.
She was ying Mozart’s Piano Sonata in G Major.
The melody was enchanting, and both Norah and Susanna became lost in the music. It was only when the piece came to an end that they opened their eyes.
“Ka, that was incredible. Your ying waspletely mesmerizing,” Norah beamed.

“I can only y like that in private. On stage, I always make mistakes,” Ka sighed.
Her hands trembled slightly. It was the result of her psychological trauma. No matter how many specialists she consulted, nothing helped.
She had been forced to say a tearful goodbye to her piano career. If that ident hadn’t happened, her name would have been counted among the great pianists in the international world.
But Nancy had destroyed her dream. Now, Ka no longer aspired for fame. All she wanted was to spend time with her family and y the piano asionally for peace of mind. That was enough for her. The glory and limelight of the stage were things she’d never be a part of again.
“Norah, why don’t you y something too? I’d love to hear you,” Ka suggested.
Susanna nodded. “Yes, Norah. I want to hear it too.”
Norah didn’t hesitate to take the seat Ka had vacated. After flexing her fingers, she pressed down on the piano keys.
Familiar notes flowed from the piano, enveloping them in the music’s narrative.
The hauntingly beautiful melody of the piano piece held them spellbound.
As the piece concluded, Ka opened her eyes, tears glistening at the corners. “That was beautifully yed.”
Susanna dabbed at her reddened eyes. “I’ve heard this piece countless times and have yed it myself, but Norah brings something different to it. It’s truly wonderful.”
“An excellent piece always resonates with the audience. I simply performed it. Ka, you mentioned feeling nervous on stage. Could you tell me more? Perhaps I can assist,” Norah smiled.
