?Chapter 1325:
“Mr. Deleon, you can join us for a meal another day,” Bryan said, more direct in sending them off.
It was clear from the attitude of each Dawson family member present that the Deleon couple was no longer wee here.
When Javier realized this, he didn’t say anything else. He took Amoura’s hand and left.
The Deleon family’s chauffeur swung open the car door, politely escorting the couple inside before resuming his position behind the wheel.
Ste gestured to Jarred. “Stop standing there and fetch my luggage. Eileen and Bryan can take me to that ce to spend the Christmas holiday now.”
“Okay!” Jarred quickly arranged for the servants to move Ste’s luggage to Eileen and Bryan’s car.
Eileen observed Ste’s expressions, trying to discern whether Ste was affected by Amoura’s words.
Ste smiled at Eileen when she noticed her gaze. “Don’t worry. I know what’s right. I’m unhappy, but I know Amoura was just here to stir up trouble. My ns won’t change.”
Eileen was lost in thought.
Did this mean that Ste had reservations about spending Christmas together with her family from the very beginning?
“Don’t overthink it. I’m just upset you didn’t invite your family to the Dawson Mansion to spend Christmas. It’s not that I don’t want to spend the holiday with your family,” Ste exined.

“You won’t feelfortable staying in our ce for Christmas, just like Eileen’s family won’t feelfortable staying in the Dawson Mansion,” Bryan said. “Since you’re nning to leave now, let’s go.”
By now, words had lost all meaning, as nothing spoken could change the reality of the situation anymore.
Ste stepped back inside, grabbed a few essentials, and then joined Eileen and the rest as they made their way to the eastern suburbs.
Inside the Deleon family’s car, the air felt thick and a bit tense.
Amoura rested her head on Javier’s shoulder, her lowered gaze concealing unreadable emotions.
Javier kept quiet, and this silence left Amoura feeling slightly unsettled.
Suddenly hearing the deep sigh from Javier next to her, Amoura straightened up in her seat and, with a touch of frustration, asked, “Did I embarrass you or something? I admit, I’m not used to handling these high-ss families, and I don’t really know how to interact with them. You told me after we got married that I could hold my head high without fearing anyone. So how did I manage to embarrass both you and myself? If it’s really that bad, we could just go abroad and get a divorce. That way, at least your family won’t have to deal with any of this.”
She gave a small sniff, turned to look out the window, and shifted slightly away from Javier.
Javier inched closer to her, reassuring her, “Presley was the one who embarrassed the Deleon family, not you. What happened today is nothing, really. Just be sure to handle things differently next time. The Dawson family isn’t to be messed with, but luckily, we don’t have too many ties with them. Sooner orter, the Deleon Group is going to bepeting with the Dawsons in Onnd anyway. But keep in mind, don’t rush things. Take it slow and steady…”
He sincerely wanted to help Amoura, whocked social experience, to be more aware of the subtle rules of their social circle.
