?Chapter 1297:
Jarred nodded and nced at Bryan. “Yes. She said that from now on, whether it’s the Dawson family or thepany, you have the final say. If Mr. Dawson doesn’t treat you well, he shouldn’t be able toe home.”
Eileen hesitated for a moment before asking, “What if I end up losing him?”
“As long as you manage to return to the Dawson family, it really won’t matter,” Jarred responded without missing a beat.
The room sank into an ufortable silence.
The sound of shallow breaths mingled with the cold wind outside, making the quiet feel even sharper.
Eileen got to her feet, rubbing her temples as if trying to shake off the fog in her mind. “Am I still in a dream?” She tilted her head, looking at Le and Ruby with confusion.
Ruby and Le both stood up, exchanged a puzzled nce, and turned to leave.
“I’m not sure I’ve fully woken up yet.”
“Yeah, same here.”
They headed straight to their rooms without another word, closing the doors behind them.
“Maybe I should just head back to bed too,” Eileen said, looking at Bryan.
Bryan kept his calm expression, though his jaw was tense. “I probably need to pinch myself just to check if this is all a dream.”
As Bryan said this, he stood up and turned to Jarred. “Thanks for all your effort. You can leave the documents here for now. Head back and get some rest.”

“Sure thing. I’lle back to collect the documents once Mrs. Dawson finishes signing them,” Jarred said calmly, unfazed by their reactions.
Fortunately, Gabri was too young to grasp what was happening, or she would have been just as baffled as Eileen and the others.
After a quick nap, Eileen came downstairs around ten, only to find the documents on the coffee table had disappeared.
Eileen exhaled in relief, ncing up at Bryan. “See? I told you—it had to have been just a dream.”
“What dream?” Ruby asked as she came out of the room, carrying a thick stack of documents.
Le walked out behind Ruby, smiling. “We’ve gone through everything, and it’s all legit. These are all of the Dawson family’s assets, including the deed to the old mansion.”
Bryan took the papers and casually flipped through a few pages. After a deep breath, he handed them to Eileen. “Go ahead and sign them.”
Eileen hesitated for a second before epting the documents, but she didn’t sign them. “I’ll keep them for now. I need some time to think about signing.”
She believed she needed to think this through. She knew Ste well, and there was definitely a reason behind this gesture. She had to figure this out before signing anything.
Bryan didn’t pressure her and, after breakfast, left for the office.
