?Chapter 1295:
“What’s going on?” Le whispered. “Did you leave a ticking time bomb at Ste’s cest time?”
Eileen’s lips twitched. “Do you think I have the guts to do that?”
Le’s frown deepened. “You don’t, but she looks like she’s walking through andmine, ready to explode at any moment.”
Eileen pressed her lips together, watching Ste y with Gabrie in the distance. After a few seconds, she couldn’t stand the suspense any longer and went outside to find Jarred.
Recently, Bryan had been very busy. Most days, he left home early and returnedte. While he knew Ste was visiting the house, he didn’t realize it was happening daily or that something was wrong.
Eileen didn’t want to bother Bryan, so she decided to ask Jarred about it.
“Jarred, has something happened to Stetely?”
Jarred pondered for a moment before replying, “After you left that day, Amoura brought Presley over, but I don’t know exactly what happened.” Ste had asked him to wait outside, so he wasn’t privy to what they had discussed.
“Amoura brought Presley to Ste’s ce?” Eileen’s gaze widened with surprise. “Presley has nothing to do with the Deleon family anymore. Are you sure Presley was there with Amoura?” Jarred didn’t watch the news and was unaware of the recent happenings.
“I’m sure.”
“Okay, I see. Thank you.” Eileen smiled and thanked Jarred before returning inside.
However, the moment she got back into the house, Ste stood up and announced, “It’s gettingte. I’ll head back now.”

Eileen paused for a moment and then tried to persuade Ste to stay. “Why don’t you stay here tonight? There’s a room for you.”
Ste replied, “No. I just wanted to see Gabri and spend some time with her. I don’t want to disturb you further.”
As Ste spoke, she walked outside, so Eileen had no choice but to see her off to the car.
Eileen reached out to support Ste as she got into the car, and Ste turned to look at her. “Eileen, can I have a word with you?”
“Of course,” Eileen replied without hesitation.
Ste said, “Marriage is a lifelong blessing. Regardless of circumstances, you’ll always be my beloved granddaughter-inw. I acknowledge and cherish you in that role. I know you’ve been wronged about certain things. If you feel upset, just vent your anger on Bryan.” Eileen was puzzled by Ste’s words.
Ste emitted a soft sigh and got into the car before Eileen could gather her wits to reply or ask a question.
Ste continued, “From now on, the Dawson family is in your hands. If Bryan upsets you, don’t hesitate to speak your mind. I trust you to handle him, and I won’t hold it against you as long as you both continue to be together… For the sake of the Dawson family’s reputation, I’m sorry you’ll have to bear this.”
“Did someone from the Deleon family say something to you?” Eileen asked bluntly.
