?Chapter 1152:
Eileen chuckled. “Right. How could you possibly spare a thought for me, your old junior high school tutor?”
Her teasing made Aaron turn red. He pressed his lips together and looked away. They all sat down and talked. Han quickly signed the contract after reviewing it.
“Oh, by the way, I met a business partner in West Land a few days ago. He mentioned he knew you.” Han paused to think and then added, “I forgot his name. Hisst name is Vance.”
A face shed through Eileen’s mind. “Denzel Vance?”
Han snapped his fingers and eximed, “Yes, that’s him! His daughter is about Aaron’s age. She also took the college entrance exams this year.”
Upon hearing theparison, Eileen felt something was off. “Aaron should have taken his college entrance exams a year before her.”
She vividly recalled teaching Aaron in his third year of middle school before she had left Onnd. Having spent a year in West Land, where she had taught Adalina the same grade material, Eileen knew Adalina was scheduled to take her exams a yearter than Aaron.
“Aaron… There was a year in high school when he really struggled. I was very anxious at the time. I asked Dawson several times where you were because I wanted to bring you back. Mr. Dawson took action personally and helped him.” Han sighed. “Aaron was fortunate to have met both you and Mr. Dawson.”
Aaron, having grown up without a mother, had always been sensitive, and his rebellious phase was more intense than most. Han, always busy with work, had nearly given up hope on Aaron.

Eileen, aware of this, felt a pang of sympathy.
It turned out that during her time in West Land, Bryan had kept in touch with Aaron and Han.
“The two of them got into the same university,” Han said, referring to Adalina and Aaron.
“That’s wonderful,” Eileen said, fondly thinking of Adalina.
However, thoughts of Adalina inevitably led her to think of Milford. Based on the timeline, Milford should have been released soon.
“It just came to me that Adaline seemed to have been bullied. It was Z’s younger brother who…” Han, being a friend of Bryan’s, was privy to the matter about Milford and Z.
Before Han could finish speaking, Eileen interjected. “No, Milford and Z are not the same. Milford… his environment may have led him astray, but he’s extremely hardworking.”
Her voice was firm, echoing throughout the quiet coffee shop.
A young man who had just entered, wearing a cap, overheard. He was tailing a well-dressed man in his thirties and had just spotted the man’s wallet.
The cash inside the wallet was now visible. However, before the young man could reach for the money, he heard Eileen’s words.
He stopped in his tracks and slowly turned towards the source of the voice.
Eileen was illuminated by the morning sun, her profile calm and serene. Her long ck hair cascaded down the side, just as the young man remembered. As she spoke, her eyes were bright.
“He’s a genius. Truly brilliant. I’ve never encountered anyone as intelligent. He chose to confess to avoid escting the conflict between Z and me. Kind and sensible don’t fully capture who he is in my heart.”
