?Chapter 1093:
Le’s eyes narrowed in thought. She was aware that Marisa had been working on this case, and after so many years, she had almost given up hope of finding the culprit. But now…
“Let’s take this conversation inside,” Le said, pulling Marisa’s arm with one hand and Eileen’s with the other as she led them into the room.
Gabri was left standing behind. Bryan scooped her up, yfully tapping her nose as he suggested, “Why don’t you go y with Raymond for a bit?”
Bryan’s eyes followed Eileen’s retreating figure, and as she turned around, their eyes locked. After a few seconds of silent exchange, Eileen averted her gaze and continued to walk inside. Raymond quickly stepped in, grabbed the toy, and distracted Gabri, leading her outside to y in the yard.
By the time Bryan entered the vi, Eileen and the others had already settled into their seats.
Bryan approached Eileen and perched himself on the armrest of the sofa.
Even though he remained silent, the moment he appeared, Marisa couldn’t help but notice his presence. Bryan had amanding aura that was impossible to overlook.
“Marisa, what have you discovered?” Le asked, gripping her cane tightly.
Marisa shifted her gaze and frowned. “Kam was seen at the location where Eileen went missing, which is why I’ve been investigating her for years. Though Kam seemed to have been careful to cover her tracks, we discovered that she had a boyfriend back then. They split up because her family disapproved, and it turns out that the man had a criminal record for abduction and trafficking of children.”

Since the man was Kam’s ex-boyfriend and their rtionship had ended long before Kam married Keith, Marisa and her team hadn’t initially dug into him. However, the investigation hit a dead end. Marisa decided to delve into Kam’s past and connections, which eventually led her to this individual.
“That man has approached Kam over the years, each time receiving a substantial sum of money from her. Shortly after Eileen went missing, the man got arge sum of money,” Marisa exined, her implication clear.
Kam had been involved in Eileen’s abduction and trafficking, and the man had been extorting money from her ever since.
“This is a significant discovery. Please keep investigating,” Le said, her expression growing serious. Uncovering the truth had been Dottie’s wish when she had still been alive.
After all these years, with Eileen finally found, Le had felt she could no longer carry out her original ns. She had even considered giving up. She hadn’t anticipated that Marisa would uncover such a crucial lead now.
Marisa reassured her. “Don’t worry; I’ll uncover the truth.” She then turned to Eileen with concern in her eyes and asked, “I heard you’ve been involved in a murder case?”
“The member of the Aston family was murdered by another member of the family, who imed Eileen had given him the order,” Le scoffed. “We were headed to Onnd this morning. How would we have had the time to do that?”
Although it was tragic that Jaliyah died so young, Eileen didn’t feel much sympathy for her. Instead, she felt a bit scared and anxious.
Jaliyah had been killed in an attempt to hurt her. Who would go to such lengths just to target her?
