Chapter 1089

    ?Chapter 1089:

A loud sound echoed through the air as Jaliyah’s head snapped to the side from the force of a p.

The sting of Eileen’s p was nothingpared to the icy chill that ran down Jaliyah’s spine as she met Eileen’s cold gaze. Jaliyah’s vision blurred, and she stood there, stunned, covering her face with her hand, feeling as though an eternity had passed.

“Eileen! How dare you hit her!” Kam found Jaliyah’s words to be music to her ears. Jaliyah had just said the exact words she had been longing to say for years. However, the p Eileen had delivered was like a blow to her own pride.

Kam stepped forward, pulling herself to stand behind Jaliyah. “She hasn’t said anything wrong! You and your mother are the toxic elements that have contaminated our Aston family, making it impossible for us to live in peace!”

“You should take responsibility for failing to capture your husband’s heart. Meanwhile, our Vazquez family has always conducted ourselves with dignity and maintained a clear boundary with the Aston family. Now, Mr. Aston and I simply maintain a cordial rtionship for the sake of our families’ ties. But given your behavior, there’s no reason to continue that.” After saying that, Eileen called a servant to see the Aston family members out.

With a mix of emotions swirling inside, Keith stepped forward and said, “Eileen…”

“Mr. Aston, please go back. We are deeply grateful for your assistance to the Vazquez family over the years, but I believe I won’t be able to see you once I move to Onnd. You’d better put your family first,” Eileen said.

A sense of hollowness settled in Eileen’s chest, likely stemming from herpassion for Dottie’s plight.

    gα?ησν????s.?оm takes you away

Keith’s face showed disappointment, but Eileen could only avert her gaze.

Even though Kam and Jaliyah were reluctant to let this go, Bryan’s presence intimidated them. They didn’t have the gall to continue creating a scene.

“Why are you still standing there? Leave!” Keith ordered. Then, he gave Le a brief nod before turning on his heel and walking away.

Jaliyah held Kam’s arm and turned to leave.

The absurd situation had thoroughly soured Eileen’s previously good mood. Brows furrowed, she turned to look at Le. “It’s a great sacrifice to deal with the Aston family… I’ll take full responsibility and exin everything to your mother after I die. She wouldn’t me us for this.”

Le dismissed the concern with a wave of her hand. “Let’s head back to Onnd with Jay. Forget about the Aston family. Kam won’t divorce Keith no matter what, so don’t worry about it.”

“I’m fine, I’m just afraid that you will feel upset,” Eileen said softly, holding onto Le’s arm.

Dottie had spent her entire life waiting for Keith, and now she was alone in the Vazquez family’s cemetery.

Logically, Le should hold a grudge against Keith, considering he was the catalyst for Dottie’s lifelong unhappiness. However, despite Keith’s role in Dottie’s pain, Le believed he was a good man who deserved Dottie’s love. She simply couldn’t bear the thought of her daughter’s long loneliness being meaningless.

The situation between the two families had reached an impasse, leaving Eileen concerned that Le would be unhappy. “When your mother was alive, I deferred to her judgment on all matters. Now that she’s gone, your thoughts and opinions take precedence. Besides, I believe you’ve done nothing wrong.”
