?Chapter 1063:
“Ah, that’s right. I was calling to ask you for the contact number of your husband,” the man replied.
Kam furrowed her brow as her confusion deepened. “Why are you so keen on getting his phone number? If he finds out that you’re the one stirring up trouble and manipting things behind Eileen’s back, do you really think you’ll get anything out of it?”
“Oh, I’m shaking in my boots,” the man said with a hint of sarcasm. “But something about him makes me think he might just have a surprise in store.”
Kam was confused. It was clear that the man was targeting Eileen, so what kind of surprise could Keith possibly offer him? It would be a miracle if Keith didn’t strangle him on sight.
“If you’re so determined to find him, you’ll have to figure it out on your own,” Kam snapped before abruptly ending the call.
She knew that to Keith, it looked like she was taking a stand against Eileen just to support Jaliyah.
She had to keep it a secret that she was the one who had sparked the conflict between Jaliyah and Eileen.
The following morning, Eileen jolted awake from the persistent ringing of her phone. Phoebe was calling her. Groggily, Eileen reached under her pillow, retrieved her phone, and answered the call. She then put the call on speakerphone.
Phoebe’s voice boomed through the room. “Eileen, when are youing back? What in the world happened with the Aston family?”
Phoebe and the others knew Eileen was supposed to return to Onnde, but Eileen hadn’t mentioned that returning was no longer an option.

Surprised by Phoebe’s question, Eileen asked, “How did you know I can’t go back now?”
“A few days ago, the Aston family came to you, demanding justice because they imed you caused their daughter-inw’s miscarriage. Now, it seems you’re causing a rift in their family. Keith and Kam are on the brink of divorce, their daughter-inw is out of the family, and you’re being called a bad omen,” Phoebe said.
Eileen sat up quickly and asked, “What did you just say?”
Phoebe paused before responding, “Are you still in bed? Did you even check the news?”
Eileen was alone in the room since Gabri had been taken away by Bryan.
She usually slept until noon every day.
“You better check the news now. If things keep going like this, you won’t be able to return until Gabri is grown up, falls in love, and marries someone,” Phoebe said.
Taking in Phoebe’s words, Eileen replied, “Alright, I’ll hang up now.”
She ended the call and checked the news, only to find that the situation had caused a stir online.
The Aston family was in turmoil.
Reports said that Keith had stormed out of the family home with a scowl the night before. Shortly after, Jaliyah had also left.
This morning, Kam had fainted at home due to emotional stress and had to be taken to the hospital. The media had managed to snap a few photos of her, and in them, Kam looked incredibly pale.
