?Chapter 1061:
Apart from putting her clothes in the wardrobe, Eileen hadn’t touched anything since moving in.
Even her mother’s desk was the same as before, and the drawers still held the contents from all those years ago. The only addition was theputer she used for work.
Le stood in front of the bookshelf for a long while, just gazing at Dottie’s framed graduation pictures. Her eyes misted as she reminisced about the past.
“Were Mom and Mr. Aston ssmates?” Eileen asked, spotting a boy standing in the middle of the photos. Keith looked much younger, but she still recognized him at a nce.
“Yes. At that time, Keith’s rtionship with his family was far from stable. It was all thanks to your mother that he managed to gain a foothold within the Aston family. Later on, his father squandered most of the family business, and they were facing destitution. Your mother stayed by Keith’s side and helped him find a solution to the crisis,” Le replied.
Dottie’s life was always intertwined with Keith’s. Le found many photos of Dottie, and she and Eileen perused through them.
Eileen couldn’t help but notice that Keith was only in that graduation photo and a handful of others.
“On the night your mother decided to break up with Keith, she burned all the pictures of them together. These only survived because she didn’t find them at the time. She even burned the gifts he gave her. Dottie wanted a clean break, and she was determined to erase any trace of Keith in her life,” Le said.
It was obvious from Le’s tone that she felt sorry for her poor daughter. She decided to take the photo with her, along with the jewelry that Dottie used to wear.

Eileen said nothing and let her grandmother do as she pleased.
At the Aston family’s residence,
At dinner, Keith ordered Kam and Jaliyah in a stern voice to make a public apology to Eileen. Needless to say, this caused yet another fight.
“I am your wife!” Kam eximed in anger. “I have never yielded to anyone in my entire life! How can you expect me to apologize to Eileen?”
But Keith had no ns to back down. “You did something wrong. How can you not—”
Kam scoffed. “Am I still your wife? Am I not even a part of the Aston family? Can’t you be selfish for once and put your family first? Your duty is to protect me! You’re supposed to be on my side! You shouldn’t be ming me because of an outsider!”
She suddenly shot up from her seat and vented the frustrations she had bottled up over the years. “I’ve spent all these years working hard for this family. Not once did you ask me if I was tired of all the responsibilities and the socializing!”
“What the hell are you doing?” Keith put his fork down and red at Kam. “You brought this upon yourself, and you dragged the Aston family name through the mud. How dare you think only of yourself?”
“Mom, Dad, stop. Why are you fighting because of an outsider?” Harrell stood up and walked around the table, trying to calm the situation. “We just need to calm down, and I’m sure we can figure out a way to deal with this. I believe that you’re not at fault. It’s Eileen who is in the wrong. I’ll have a word with that womanter!”
At that point, Keith exploded. He mmed his fist on the table and demanded, “Have a word with her about what? About how your wife pretended to be pregnant and framed her? Or how your mother made things worse by forcing her to apologize over a lie?”
