?Chapter 1038:
Raising her eyebrows, Eileen replied, “I’ll take her with us. She’s so eager to have a great-grandson. Won’t shee along?” After spending time together, Le had be so attached to both her and Gabri that she could hardly bear the thought of living apart from them.
This was partly why she had been staying at the Vazquez Mansiontely. It was somewhat of a “trap” to keep Le close to her and Gabri.
Once home, Eileen shared her ns to return to Onnd with Le.
Le hesitated for a long time before responding, “If I go with you, the journey will wear me out.”
“I’ve bought a recreational vehicle. Although it will take longer to travel to Onnd, it will allow you to restfortably,” Eileen exined, having already made arrangements for their journey.
“Isn’t there still a few days left?” Le said, waving her hand dismissively. “I’ll need to think it over a bit more.”
Eileen gave Le plenty of time to think. In the meantime, Eileen bnced her responsibilities, managing work at VQ Group with Bryan and making frequent trips to the hospital.
If she nned to leave, she needed to make sure everything with Dalores was sorted out first.
The obstetrics and gynecology department was crowded with pregnant women. As Eileen hurried through, she spotted a familiar figure standing in the corner.
Jaliyah was nervously chatting on the phone. Eileen wondered if something was wrong with Jaliyah’s baby.

She hurried over, but before she could get close, Jaliyah shouted, “It’ll be toote if you wait another half hour. Get here right away. My mother-inw came with me, and Miranda couldn’t fake the matter alone. She could only change the samples… How was I supposed to know my mother-inw would suddenly demand an examination? She said she was concerned since I had that fall. She’s afraid I might miscarry, but she’s never cared about me like this before. If she finds out I’m not really pregnant, my life will be ruined. Just get here as fast as you can!”
After ending the call, Jaliyah turned around and looked for a ce to hide. If all else failed, she would im she had a stomachache and couldn’t go through with the examination. She spun around so quickly that Eileen barely had time to react. Eileen was still in shock from overhearing her conversation.
“You…” Jaliyah was startled to see Eileen, her frown deepening. “What are you doing here? Did you overhear me talking on the phone?”
“I didn’t hear anything. I just happened to walk by,” Eileen replied, shaking her head.
After saying this, she turned and walked away. She had no intention of getting involved in the Aston family’s affairs. Whatever Jaliyah was up to was none of her concern.
Jaliyah, unsure of how to handle the situation, watched Eileen leave and then stamped her foot in frustration and fear. “She must have sensed something was off and followed me deliberately. What am I going to do now? She’ll surely tell someone about this.” Panicking, Jaliyah rushed to…
Jaliyah hurried to find Miranda. Miranda had cleared her schedule for her. As Jaliyah slipped inside Miranda’s office and closed the door behind her, she eximed, “Miranda, it’s over. I don’t know how I’m going to get out of this now!”
