Chapter 1011

    ?Chapter 1011:

Chana forced down the anger rising in her chest and replied, “I may be interested in you, but I still have my principles. I advise you not to push your luck.”

“If you’re not giving me a house, how can I ensure I’ll maintain the same status after marrying your son?” Eileen asked, twirling a strand of her hair. “If I marry Benicio, I could only choose one field between the political field and the business world, right?”

“That’s right,” Chana responded, sitting up straighter. “Our family is now in the political field. You’d need to sell off your shares and cut all ties to the business world to avoid bringing anyplications to the Brown family.”

Eileen scoffed, “Even if your political position is rock solid, can you earn more money than me? And even if you could, would you be bold enough to spend it as freely as I do? Honestly, being in the political field seems pretty boring. Maybe you should consider stepping down and letting your Brown family dive into the business world instead.”

Chana clutched her chest, coughing. “What kind of nonsense are you talking about?”

Eileen’s words were blunt yet entirely justified.

“It’s not your ce to decide the fate of the Brown family. I’ll give you six hundred sixty thousand dors as a wedding gift, and the car and house are already arranged. I’ll have someone decide the wedding date and let you know,” Chana replied frostily.

Eileen lost her patience and said, “Why are you still worried about arranging these things? Since I’m marrying a mentally defective man, the wedding will be theughingstock no matter what you do.”

    “You!” Chana was furious.

“Don’t take it personally. I’m just being honest. And if you really want me to marry your son, I need to tell you something…” Eileen attempted to stand up, but her legs felt suddenly weak. She tried her best to look normal.

A strong seafood odor wafted from the kitchen. Eileen hadn’t noticed it while sitting, but standing up, the breeze from the open window carried the scent to her. She covered her mouth and nose, gagged, and quickly made her way out.

Chana’s eyes caught sight of the hickeys on Eileen’s neck and shoulder. She was taken aback and stared in the direction Eileen walked away.

Noticing Eileen’s hurried exit, Bryan quickly followed and gently patted her back. “Are you still feeling nauseous?”

“I’ve been skipping meals and haven’t had a chance to take my medicine,” Eileen exined, having missed breakfast and now merely retching up bile.

With Chana still there, Eileen took a ss of water from a servant to help settle her stomach before heading back inside.

Before more could be said, Chana rose and stated, “I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll be leaving now.”

“In that case, could I have your phone number?” Eileen swiftly pulled out her phone and shed a smile at Chana.

    The smile unsettled Chana.

Nevertheless, they exchanged phone numbers before Chana took her leave.

In a secluded corner of the yard, a shadowy figure slipped away and made a discreet phone call outside the Vazquez Mansion.
