Chapter 1002

    ?Chapter 1002:

Eileen instinctively stepped behind the waiter.

As a result, Benicio ran straight into the waiter. The poor man was knocked over and inadvertently bumped into Eileen as he fell back.

Unfortunately, Eileen wasn’t quick enough, and she failed to stop the waiter from falling to the floor.

“I’m so sorry! I didn’t expect him to rush over like that,” she said.

“It’s all right. Please take a seat,” the waiter grimaced in pain as he pulled himself up. Of course, he didn’t darein about the incident. He pulled out a chair and gestured for Eileen to sit.

While all this was happening, Benicio just stood to the side with a huge grin on his face, his eyes fixed on Eileen.

    “My wife,” he mumbled.

After sitting down, Eileen ordered a steak and asked the waiter to hand the menu to Benicio.

“I will eat whatever my wife eats,” Benicio dered, pushing the menu away.

Without warning, he moved his chair to sit right next to Eileen.

The sudden proximity allowed Eileen to see a mole in the corner of his eye. Benicio was actually a very handsome man. Even the silly grin on his face did nothing to detract from his good looks. A thought urred to Eileen. She frowned and asked, “Are you Benicio?”

“Yes, and you are my wife!” Benicio replied without hesitation.

“That’s right; I am your wife,” Eileen said. “Do you understand what marriage is?”

Benicio eagerly nodded. “Yes! Marriage is… Youe home with me, cook for me, wash my clothes, and tell me bedtime stories.”

His words seemed absurd, but it was clear that this was all he couldprehend as a mentally challenged person. Eileen smiled softly.

“Then, do you want to marry me?” she asked.

    “Yes!” Benicio nodded enthusiastically.

“In that case, I have some rules. You must abide by them, okay?” Eileen leaned back in her chair, speaking in a calm, measured tone. Benicio nodded again.

“All right. First of all, I won’t be staying home to tend to you and the children. Even after we’re married, I’ll still continue to work, just like your mother,” Eileen said. She wasn’t sure if Benicio understood her. He frowned, then smiled.

Eileen continued, “Once we are husband and wife, you must listen to me no matter what. If a dayes when I disagree with your mother, you need to be on my side.” Benicio’s face grew increasingly confused as he tried to process her words.

Soon enough, the dishes they had ordered were served. Benicio happily picked up his cutlery and was about to slice into his steak when Eileen stopped him.

“Hang on, you can’t eat until I start eating.” Eileen pushed her steak toward Benicio and said, “Cut this for me.”

Benicio froze and looked at her in disbelief.

“What are you waiting for? Cut it for me,” Eileen repeated.
