?Chapter 909:
Eileen seized the moment to tease Bryan. She replied, “I’m broke. I have to give your father a million dors as his sry every month. We’ll be starving soon.”
Gabri didn’t grasp the humor, but Bryan chuckled, shaking his head. He said, “Don’t worry, honey. I’ll take care of you both. As long as I get paid, I’ll give you whatever you want.”
“I don’t even have the money to pay your dad,” Eileen replied without missing a beat.
Bryan sighed theatrically.
“Then how can you promise to pay me? I’m out of money too, so it’s up to your mom to buy the things you want, Gabri.”
Gabri had just woken up, her hair a tousled mess. She looked back and forth between her parents, her big ck eyes glistening with confusion. She clearly didn’t understand what Eileen and Bryan were saying.
Eileen leaned closer to Bryan, her voice dropping to a yful whisper.
“Honey, how about I have sex with you if you give up your sry?”
Suddenly, the screech of brakes echoed through the empty road. Bryan’s grip on the wheel tightened, his veins standing out.
He snapped, “I’m driving! Don’t say things like that!”
“Well, are you?” Eileen asked, jolting against the driver’s seat as the car came to a stop. For a moment, Bryan’s heart pounded with a mix of frustration and attraction surging through him.
He growled, “There are six days left until payday. Satisfy me in those days, and you can have my life, let alone the sry!”

Eileen couldn’t help butugh.
“Dad, don’t rush! I don’t want to eat toast anymore!” Gabri’s small voice cut through the tension, affected by the sudden stop. Thankfully, the child seat kept her secure.
Misunderstanding the yful exchange, she thought her parents were arguing over the toast and quickly waved her hands.
“I don’t want to eat that anymore. I can be hungry a little longer!”
Eileen turned, smoothing her daughter’s hair with a tender hand.
“Gabri, we’re not going to starve. I’ll take you to get your toast. Mommy has got plenty of money.”
“Mum’s got plenty of money?” Gabri’s eyes widened, a mix of surprise and doubt clouding her young mind. Eileen nodded, her eyes bright.
The next moment, Gabri grinned.
“Mom buys me toast, but Dad doesn’t. Dad’s broke.”
Her innocent voice rang through the car like a bell, filling the air with a childish charm. Bryan pressed down the elerator, steering them toward a restaurant famous for its toast. His eyes flicked to the rearview mirror asionally, catching glimpses of Eileen and Gabri.
After Gabri got the toast she wanted, Eileen swiftly typed a message to Raymond, instructing him to go to thepany’s finance department the next day and cancel Bryan’sbor contract.
Raymond’s reply came with a thumbs-up emoji. Eileen had indeed gotten the job done sessfully.
