Chapter 766

    ?Chapter 766:

“Are you really sure about that?”

The moment Bryan came closer, Gabri darted toward him, clinging to his thighs as she scrambled onto the sofa. With a tilted head and a radiant smile, she looked up at him.

“Daddy, smile!” she eximed, her face stretching into a broad grin.

Gabri had clearly noticed Bryan was angry and feared he might direct his frustration at Eileen. So, she quickly intervened, hoping to lift Bryan’s spirits.

Gabri’s gesture caused Eileen to chuckle and nestle closer into Bryan’s embrace.

Following a day filled with joy, Eileen apanied Bryan to thepany the next morning. They headed directly to the top floor and walked into Bryan’s office.

As Bryan became engrossed in his meeting, Eileen entertained Gabri in the office.

Momentster, as Bryan stepped out, Conroy entered the office, shut the door behind him, and walked over to Eileen. “Eileen, it’s been more than a week since you’ve been here. It’s time you visit your grandmother; she’s been missing you terribly,” he said.

“Alright, I’ll go see Grandma this weekend,” Eileen replied. She had been away from the mansion for almost a week and had only managedte-night video calls with Le. Because of Tracey’s constant watch, Le kept her phone hidden, but she always found opportunities to send Eileen messages to reassure her of her safety.

So, despite Conroy’s attempts to use Le’s condition as a reason to ask Eileen to return, Eileen remained unmoved. “I’ve told you this before, but maybe it didn’t sink in. The money you make holds no value to the Vazquez family. You should focus on spending more time with your grandmother. Frankly, she might not have much time left.” Conroy became more direct.

Eileen pretended to understand his intentions. “That can’t be true. Auntie said Grandma’s health improved significantly after I returned. She even encouraged me to stay in the city a few more days before heading back to Onnd.”

Conroy was left speechless. It was clear that everyone wanted Eileen gone. Why couldn’t she see it?

“Besides, if Grandma’s health is failing, shouldn’t you be the one to stay by her side, show your respect, and be with her in her final days?” Eileen asked with genuine concern. “My mother has been gone for years, and it’s asting regret that she never found me. Now that she has, it’s only fair that you, my mother’s husband, take care of Grandma. And let’s not forget, Kinsey is Grandma’s only other grandchild. He should return to spend more time with her too.”

“We should all resign and go back home,” Conroy stared at Eileen, unsure of what to say.

“Why the hesitation?” Eileen asked, pulling out a bank card from her bag. “I have around a hundred thousand dors saved up. Can you and Kinsey together earn twenty thousand per month? That’s two hundred thousand a year. I can easily provide that amount as your sry. We’re not short on money for now. What do you think?”

Conroy blinked a couple of times before he fully understood what Eileen meant.

    “Two hundred thousand dors?”

Considering his vast abilities, this sum seemed insignificant.

How could she even bring that up?
