Chapter 745

    ?Chapter 745:

Kinsey cut her off, saying to Eileen, “Come with me.”

“Okay,” Eileen replied. She signaled for Lenny to go without her and then followed Kinsey to the balcony outside the canteen.

“What are you doing here?” Kinsey asked Eileen, his hands casually stuffed in his pockets.

After a long pause, Eileen, standing before him, said, “I’m your cousin, and I believe you should show me some respect.”

Kinsey appeared puzzled and stared at her.

    “What’s with your attitude?”

Eileen shot a look at him. “Just because you have a higher position in thepany doesn’t mean you can disregard our family rtionship. Do you really think I’d hesitate to tell the wholepany that you’re my cousin?”

“Don’t do that!” Kinsey blurted out, ring at her. “I’ve already told you that our rtionship must remain private within thepany.”

Eileen raised an eyebrow and asked, “If you want our rtionship hidden, why did you ask me toe here with you?”

Kinsey nced towards the canteen and inquired, “What are you doing here?”

Eileen was momentarily speechless. She realized that his question about her being at VQ Group the previous night was because he had intended toe here today. She understood that Bryan had likelye here for her. However, Bryan surely hadn’t anticipated that his visit would make her unable to have lunch here.

“It’s lunchtime. Do I need to remind you again?” Eileen responded to Kinsey.

Kinsey looked slightly flustered, realizing he hadn’t thought much before speaking earlier. He pulled out some cash from his wallet, handed it to Eileen, and said, “Don’t have lunch at the canteen today. We need to host an important client.”

Eileen epted the money and said, “Why are you letting the important client eat in the canteen? Why don’t you take the client to a nice restaurant?”

“It’s what the client requested,” Kinsey replied, feeling that the conversation was dragging. He added, “Stop asking so many questions. You can’t know anything about the matter.”

“I don’t know much, but I’m curious about one thing,” Eileen said, tucking the cash into her bag. “Why can’t I dine here while you’re entertaining the client?”

Not wanting to borate further now that Eileen had epted the money, Kinsey said, “Just hurry up and leave. I have important matters to attend to.”

He then turned and walked back into the canteen.

After a moment of contemtion, Eileen left the balcony. Just as she was deciding where to go, a message from Lenny popped up on her phone.

“I’ve reserved a spot for you. Join me! It’s quite the visual treat today.”

A treat? Bryan’s presence here had clearly attracted attention. Bryan had even brought Gabri with him. Gabri was asleep, snugly cradled in his arms. Yet, the crowd seemed more focused on Bryan’s appearance, barely acknowledging the baby in his arms.

Eileen entered the canteen, surveyed the surroundings, and made her way to Lenny, who was seated at a table adjacent to Bryan’s.

Lenny had intentionally chosen this table to be near Kinsey. She waved enthusiastically as Eileen approached.
