?Chapter 642:
Seeing Josue enter the room, Rylie swiftly set the phone to forward all international calls and messages to her own phone, erased the call history, and ced the phone back in its ce.
“What were you doing with my phone?” Josue asked suspiciously. “Did you save some girl’s number?”
“Your phone’s as empty as a desert. What girl would be unlucky enough to end up with you?” Rylie shot back, trying to cover her nervousness with a loud voice.
Afterward, she rubbed her hand on her clothes and muttered, “How annoying!”
Josue was left speechless.
Shortly after, Rylie’s phone buzzed with several text messages from Edna.
“Josue, please give me a chance to exin.”
“I really don’t have time now. You’re the only one who can help me!”
It seemed Edna was in some kind of urgent situation, persistently seeking Josue’s help. Some of the messages were in anguage Rylie couldn’t understand.
All Rylie knew was that she couldn’t let Edna continue affecting Josue. She decided to ignore all the messages for now.
In the evening, everyone returned to their homes.
Bryan’s overly yful and flirtatious behavior earlier led Eileen to banish him to the sofa for the night.
The sofa was spacious and soft, made even cozier with ayer offortable bedding. However, pared to a double bed, it looked in and somewhat pathetic.
Gabri was excited to have another person in the bedroom with her. Shey down for a moment before sitting up beside Eileen to peek at the sofa.

She extended her hand towards it, babbling.
Before Eileen could respond, Bryan got up and made his way back to the bed. “Gabri wants me to sleep here,” he said.
As soon as Bryan finished speaking, hey down on the bed, sinking into the soft mattress.
Reaching out with one long arm, he pulled Gabri into his embrace before she even had a chance to react.
Startled, Gabri instinctively scooted toward Eileen, babbling nervously.
Feeling a bit irritated, Eileen took Gabri into her arms and snapped, “You understand what she said, so why can’t you understand that she wants you to stay away from her for now?”
Nestled against Eileen, Gabri turned around and saw that it was Bryan who had reached for her. A smile spread quickly across her face.
Eileen was left speechless. She sighed, realizing that there was no point in continuing the argument, and let Gabri y with Bryan.
It wasn’t long before Eileen found herself drifting off to sleep. She didn’t even realize when Bryan and Gabri had fallen asleep.
With the wedding preparations on her mind, Eileen called Roderick to discuss the details. After some thought, he finally said, “You’ll need to work out the wedding ns with the Dawson family. Ruby’s the only one on your side. How about Ie along to back you up?”
