?Chapter 614:
Seeing Eileen ovee with emotion, the police quickly intervened. After separating Z and Eileen, the officer handling Milford’s case approached Z to gather more evidence.
Without missing a beat, Z said, “Milford is trouble. He quit school in Wist Land long ago and fell in with badpany. He begged me to bring that girl to the hotel, and Iplied.”
“You’re lying!” Eileen shouted, struggling in Bryan’s embrace, but she couldn’t break free. She was so angry that she felt as though she could tear Z apart with her bare hands.
Jacob quickly intervened, addressing the police officer. “Z’s statements are unreliable. She and her brother, Milford, have a strained rtionship. Milford has always been close to Eileen.”
“Mr. Meyer, don’t worry. We’ll gather more evidence,” the officer replied, interrupting Jacob. He then instructed his team to escort Z to the holding area to await further proceedings.
Eileen was beyond reason. Once Bryan escorted her to the car by the wrist, she slumped into the seat, pletely still.
Bryan spoke quietly, “Z has already notified the school about Milford. He is a unique talent and has attracted attention from various circles. Now, with these allegations, the school has expelled him. What we need to do now is not only alleviate the charges but also fully clear his name. This is the only way Milford can restore his dignity.”
Bryan sent a message to Raymond, instructing him to investigate the hotel owner. He also asked Jacob to contact Denzel, hoping that Adalina would be able to recount the events of that night.
Inside the car, Bryan, Eileen, and Jacob worked through these matters. The sound of iing messages and phone calls continued to fill the silence.
Frustrated, Jacob eventually tossed his phone into the storage box. “Denzel said Adalina was deeply affected. When she woke up, she found herself unclothed on the bed with Milford and was terrified. She’s been silent ever since. It seems she’ll only be able to tell us what happened once she calms down.”
“There’s still time. No need to worry,” Bryan reassured him.
Having finished coordinating with Raymond, Bryan stowed his phone and instructed Jacob to take Eileen home.

Eileen took a deep breath and turned to Bryan. “Why did you leave the hospital?”
“I anticipated that you might lose control after hearing about Milford’s incident,” Bryan exined. “I came because I was concerned for you.” He wrapped his arms around her from behind, drawing her closer. “I’m still here to support you.”
He wanted her to know that she could rely on him.
Eileen considered allowing Bryan to handle the situation. She realized that she didn’t need to bear the weight of everything on her own, as she had done when Bryan wasn’t by her side. Having him with her felt reassuring.
She rested her head on Bryan’s shoulder and closed her eyes to rest.
“I’m not going home,” Eileen said quietly, still holding onto Bryan’s fingers. “It’s nearly dawn. I’ll head to the hospital.”
Gabri and Ruby had probably already fallen asleep, and Eileen worried that returning home would disturb them.
At the crossroads leading to either the hospital or home, Bryan instructed Jacob to head toward the hospital.
The bed in the VIP ward was spacious. Eileen quickly fell asleep, curling up next to Bryan. Her hand rested on his chest, her long ck hair flowing loosely, the ends just brushing against his hand.
