?Chapter 488:
“Bryan, who you choose as your wife is your concern, but introducing her as such without even being married is outrageous!” Brandon’s voice cut through the tension as he perched on a sofa at the edge of the room, with Lydia serving fruits to the others.
The elders’ presence seemed to demand Lydia’spliance, as she dutifully served fruits and water. It was clear that the Dawson family adhered to strict, old-fashioned traditions.
“Why have you all gathered here sote? Is there something worth discussing?” Bryan bypassed Brandon, guiding Eileen to sit beside Ste. He stood tall beside Eileen and Ste, his figure bathed in the bright light.
Brandon’s face darkened as he stood. “I summoned them to discuss how my unfilial son has drained Apex Group and damaged the family’s interests.”
“How you and your father resolve your differences is your business,” Bryan replied coolly. “But Apex Group concerns the entire Olson family’s interests. We cannot tolerate such antics and must intervene now.”
An elderly man in a suit, leaning on a cane with a bald head and snowy beard, stood up and addressed the room. His voice, manding yet soft, filled the space.
His words immediately struck a chord.
“Bryan, that’s your fault.”
“I heard you established EB Group. That should be considered Dawson family property, right?”
“That’s right. And given your past actions, we can no longer trust you, Bryan. We demand you hand over EB Group and all assets under your name to your father!”
Brandon smirked triumphantly but said nothing, watching the scene unfold.

Bryan raised an eyebrow with a casual air. “I extracted resources from Apex Group without taking a single penny. So, EB Group is separate from Apex Group. I’ll admit, it does cast a shadow on my character.”
Supervisors who led their teams to jump ship always faced skepticism in the industry, yet their undeniable capabilities stillmanded respect. Bryan was that kind of person.
“If you’re unsure, just check the funds invested in EB Group. None of that money came from my ount,” Bryan said, resting one hand in his pocket and exuding nonchnce. He leaned back against the sofa, rxed, as though he didn’t take the others seriously at all.
Brandon snapped, “I don’t believe EB Group isn’t under your name. Who’s in charge? Who are the shareholders? Tell us!”
“Two people invested in and established thepany: my wife, Eileen, and a well-known foreign venture capitalist, Josue. I’m merely working for them,” Bryan replied, spreading his hands and shrugging. “You can verify it online right now.”
Some of the people in the room immediately checked EB Group’s ownership structure.
It turned out that Eileen and Josue each owned half of EB Group, with Eileen being the one in charge of thepany. This meant Eileen owned half the shares, along with full management rights.
