?Chapter 393:
“Ms. Curtis, you must have learned a great deal from Mr. Dawson. How did you know what they offered?” Trenton had hoped to get at least ten thousand more from Eileen.
However—
“You give me too much credit. I don’t need to guess their offers; I just need to determine how much you would value your club based on their highest offer.”
Eileen had seen through Trenton’s strategy.
Trenton sighed and waved his hand dismissively. “Alright, alright, I give up. I won’t argue with them anymore. I trust that you are reliable, and it’s simpler to negotiate with you.”
Earlier, Trenton had made Eileen specte on his bottom price for quite a while.
By the time the two returned to the room, thirty minutes had passed.
Ten minutes earlier, Z had casually said, “Mr. Quimby has been gone for quite some time, and he left right after Ms. Curtis. I think I saw him get a message just before they stepped out. It seemed like Ms. Curtis wanted to speak with him privately.”
Z’s words carried a hint of suggestion.
“I think we should all concede; it seems she has already made a deal with him privately. Let’s just take this as an opportunity to have some fun.”
Z lifted her wine ss toward everyone. “It’s nice to meet you all here.”
The others lifted their sses in response, partially believing her words, but also somewhat skeptical.

However, when Eileen and Trenton returned together, Trenton confidently dered, “Everyone, I value and am honored by your presence. After careful consideration, I’ve decided that it’s best for me to partner with Ms. Curtis. I’ve known her for a long time and am familiar with her working style—”
“Mr. Quimby, there’s no need to justify your decision. Whoever you choose to partner with is your prerogative. We all wish you a sessful cooperation,” Z interrupted, raising her ss for a toast.
The others fell silent for a moment before joining in the toast.
There wasn’t much conversation afterward, and the group began to reflect on the implications of Z’s earlier remarks.
Eileen nced at Z, choosing to ignore the sarcastic tone in herments.
After agreeing to meet Trenton the following day to finalize the acquisition details, Eileen decided it was time to leave the club.
She was usually quite good at holding her liquor, but since bing pregnant, she had abstained from drinking. This was her first drink since then, and after a few sips, she felt slightly dizzy.
