?Chapter 352:
This topic snuffed out the remaining warmth in Eileen’s heart. After bidding Josue goodbye, she headed upstairs.
Taking Gabri from Milford, Eileen prepared some form for bedtime. Watching Gabri grip the bottle tightly with both hands, herrge eyes fixed on her, Eileen felt a surge of affection.
“Your dad doesn’t dislike you, sweetheart. He just doesn’t know you’re his daughter. Let your godfather help you spend more time with him. He’s bound to fall in love with you, my dear,” Eileen whispered gently. Although she imed it didn’t bother her, that wasn’t entirely true.
Her feelings were mixed, and she couldn’t fully me Bryan either. She hoped for more father-daughter interactions. Even if Bryan didn’t warm up to Gabri initially, perhaps more time together would change his feelings.
“But this is his only chance. Let’s set a time,” Eileen knew she couldn’t wait indefinitely for Bryan to connect with Gabri. Ten days, at most.
“You’re so adorable. If he still doesn’t appreciate you after ten days, my dear, I’ll make sure he regrets it, and we won’t bother with him anymore.”
Gabri seemed to sense Eileen’s mood, or perhaps just enjoyed the sound of her voice, as she began kicking her legs so vigorously that her nket fell off.
Eileen caught her tiny feet, ying with them a bit before they both settled down to sleep.
The next morning, Josue arrived to take Gabri before Bryan came downstairs to prevent any suspicion.

Eileen agreed but gave him a specific instruction: “Hope he grows to like Gabri within ten days. If not, consider this ten-day dy before revealing her identity his punishment. If he still doesn’t warm up to her after that, it won’t matter. In my eyes, you’ll be more of a father to her than he will ever be.”
This decision was mostly because of Gabri.
Hearing this, Josue couldn’t hide his delight. He secretly hoped the ten days would pass quickly. If Bryan didn’t warm up to Gabri, he believed he could establish a closer connection with her than Bryan ever could.
“Just make sure to give Bryan every opportunity to bond with her. No tricks,” Eileen cautioned, noticing Josue’s mischievous grin.
Feeling slightly abashed, Josue responded, “Don’t worry. I’m the most honest person you’ll meet. I won’t y any games.”
With Gabri safely delivered to Bryan’s ce by Josue, Bryan descended the stairster, hearing Gabri’s cheerful sounds before he reached the living room.
Curious, he quickened his pace and soon sported the little girl on the living room mat.
Gabri noticed him and made a curious sound, kicking her feet energetically until she tumbled face-first onto the mat.
