?Chapter 151:
Eileen then advised Milford to absorb the basics quickly to set the stage for future learning.
An hour passed in the blink of an eye. Bryan prepared a te of fruit and brought it to them. He looked younger in a white shirt and cks, with strands of hair framing his forehead, entuating his wless features.
He ced the fruit te before them and asked, “Have you had dinner?”
Eileen wasn’t sure if he was asking her or Adalina.
Adalina shook her head and said, “My father is working overtime at thepany. My mother has gone to y cards and hasn’t returned home. She let me have some desserts and said she would cook dinner after my fatheres home tonight.”
“What? You haven’t eaten yet?” Eileen was taken aback. “It’s already eight o’clock. Aren’t you hungry?”
“Well, my mom usually prepares my meals.” Adalina smiled bitterly. She believed her mother wasn’t exactly reliable when it came to preparing meals. But she couldn’t do anything about it.
Eileen didn’t know what to say. After all, this wasn’t her home.
“What about you?” Eileen heard Bryan’s voice from above her.
She turned to look at him and shook her head. “I didn’t eat. But I drank a bottle of milk beforeing here. I’m not hungry. I usually don’t have dinner at night.”
“Come and cook with me. You can continue your lessons after dinner.”

With that, Bryan turned around and went downstairs.
Adalina looked at Eileen, seemingly uneasy.
“Don’t worry. I’ll make spaghetti. Remind your mom to let you have dinner before I pick you up tomorrow,” Eileen said.
She stood up. “You review the practice problems first. I’ll call you when dinner is ready.”
Bryan was already in the kitchen when Eileen came downstairs. He boiled the water and turned around to look at her. “Come and help me,” he said.
“Okay.” Eileen rolled up her sleeves and walked into the kitchen.
She stared at the pot for a long time, unsure of what to do. Finally, she took a deep breath and looked at Bryan. “What should I do?” she asked.
Bryan pointed to the refrigerator. “There are tomatoes andtro in there. Wash them.”
Eileen remained silent, thinking Bryan had deliberately asked her to help him. Even so, she did as she was told.
Then, she stood aside and watched Bryan cook.
He soon finished cooking and filled four tes with spaghetti.
“I’ll ask them toe downstairs.” Eileen took her phone and sent a WhatsApp message. She thought for a while and added Adalina and Milford to a group chat so they could discuss lessons together in the future.
She sent a message: “Kids,e downstairs for dinner.”
Momentster, Milford and Adalina came downstairs. The four sat down to eat.
After Eileen ced the forks on the table, Milford looked at Bryan and smiled. “Happy birthday, Bryan.”
Eileen was stunned; she hadn’t known it was Bryan’s birthday. He had never celebrated it when she had worked for him.
“Is today Mr. Dawson’s birthday?” Adalina asked in surprise. “Happy birthday, Mr. Dawson. I’m sorry I didn’t know, or I would have gotten you a present.”
Eileen scratched her head in embarrassment. She then looked at Bryan, who was sitting at the main seat. “Mr. Dawson, happy birthday.”
She turned to Adalina. “It’s fine. We’re not really close to Mr. Dawson, so we don’t need to get him a gift.”
“Okay.” Adalina still looked a little ufortable.
Bryan felt a pang in his heart as he watched Eileen continue eating the spaghetti. He frowned and finished his entire te, already upset by Eileen’s indifferent attitude. Little did he know that what was about to happen would dampen his mood even further.
Suddenly, lights appeared outside the house, illuminating the room.
Both Adalina and Milford put down their forks and walked over to the window. Eileen and Bryan followed them. The four stood in front of the French window and saw a Porsche pull up outside the vi.
The car’s headlights were aimed at the window, and a person stood in front of the car, though it was difficult to see them clearly.
“Bryan, is that person here for you?” asked Milford.
Bryan shook his head, frowning. “No.”
He hadn’t seen that car before.
Just as they wondered what was going on, Eileen’s phone rang. It was a call from an unknown number.
She picked it up and heard a strange voice.
“Ophelia, I’m at your door. Come out!”
Eileen was taken aback. It took her a moment to realize the caller was the same person she had met at the clubst night. She quickly hung up the phone and turned around to see Bryan, Milford, and Adalina all staring at her.
“I’m sorry. I think he’s here for me. I’ll handle it,” she quickly said.
She grabbed her coat, slipped it on, and hurried out. Arthur stood there at the door, dressed in a mboyant shirt with a bouquet of red roses.
“Why are you here?” Eileen looked at the bouquet Arthur was offering but didn’t take it.
“Did you think I wouldn’t be able to find you if you gave me a fake name and phone number?” Arthur said, gesturing for her to take the bouquet.
“I’m sorry, sir. I think I haven’t made myself clear.”
Eileen smiled politely. “If you’re looking for fun, I’m not your ymate. If you’re serious, I’m not interested in you.”
With that, she turned to leave.
Arthur quickly caught up with her and grabbed her wrist. “Are you ying hard to get? If so, it’s working, mainly because you’re gorgeous.”
Then, he thrust the flowers into Eileen’s hand. “I know what you’re doing. Don’t act innocent. Just let me in, and I promise to make you happy. What do you think?”
Eileen tried to withdraw her hand, but Arthur’s grip only tightened. She couldn’t take it anymore and could feel a sharp gaze on her without turning around.
Throwing the flowers on the ground and ring at Arthur, she said, “This is not my home. I’m here to tutor my students. If you disturb my employer, I’ll call security.”
“Ah, that’s too bad. I don’t want you to call security. I’d prefer you to call me ‘Daddy’ in bed.” Arthur’s lustful gaze swept over her body, and his hand caressed her wrist.
Eileen squirmed with disgust and tried to yank her hand away from Arthur’s hold. However, Arthur exerted all his strength and pushed her toward the vi.
Eileen staggered backward and almost lost her bnce.
“Let go of her!” Bryan said coldly as he grabbed Arthur’s hand.
Eileen watched as Bryan squeezed Arthur’s wrist, causing his expression to change. Arthur grimaced in pain and had no choice but to let go of Eileen.
“Stay away from her!” Bryan released Arthur’s hand and took Eileen’s, gently running his fingertips over her wrist where Arthur had touched. It was already red.
Arthur returned to his arrogant demeanor. “Who do you think you are? You better mind your own business. Do you have any idea who I am?”
“No, I don’t. Why don’t you introduce yourself?” Bryan said indifferently.
Outside the vi, only one streetmp was on, casting a shadow over them. Bryan towered over Arthur, his indifference suppressing Arthur’s arrogance.
“I’m Arthur ke,” Arthur said confidently. “Who are you? Trust me; you don’t want to provoke me!”
It took Bryan a moment to recall someone named Arthur ke in Wist Land. Bryan arched an eyebrow and said, “I’m Bryan Dawson.”
The name sounded familiar to Arthur, but he assumed Bryan wasn’t someone powerful, as it wasn’t well known in Wist Land.
Arthur grew more arrogant. “I don’t care what rtionship you share with this woman. I want her! Give her to me, and—”
“No way!” Bryan interjected and tightened his grip on Eileen’s wrist. “Get lost!”
Then, he turned and walked into the vi with Eileen, mming the door behind him.
Arthur quickly ran to the door and knocked. When both Eileen and Bryan ignored him, he ran to the French window and knocked on that.
Adalina stood in front of the French window. She hadn’t witnessed such a scene before, so she retreated in fear.
Milford quickly stood in front of her. He nced at Arthur for a few seconds before looking away.
A memory of the past shed in his mind, and he hurriedly pulled Adalina away from the window.
Soon, the security guards arrived. They said something to Arthur, and he angrily left.
After getting into the Porsche and driving away, Arthur found the man who had followed Eileen and said, “Go find out who Bryan Dawson is. How dare hepete with me for a woman? He’s asking for trouble!”
A momentter, Arthur remembered something. “Why is Milford here?” he asked, frowning.
“Well… I don’t know,” the man answered.
“You better find out now! Go!” Arthur patted the man’s head and left.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the vi was tense.
Bryan told Milford to go upstairs and study with Adalina. Eileen sat on the couch and looked at Bryan with unease.
“How did you know that man?” Bryan asked.
“I met him at the clubst night, but I don’t know him. I only learned his name after he just said it.” Eileen subconsciously lowered her voice like a child being chastised.
However, Bryan didn’t believe her. “If that’s true, how did he get your phone number?”
“I…” Eileen didn’t know how to exin it to him.
She had switched thest two digits of her phone number, but Arthur had still managed to find out her real number. She had checked the number twice before giving it to Arthur to make sure it wasn’t her real number.
Bryan suddenly leaned forward and pinned her against the sofa. “Eileen, you better behave. Don’t get involved with those people.” The thought of the bouquet of red roses irked him.
Eileen was taken aback for a few seconds. Then, she pushed his chest, trying to create some distance between them.
She said, “Mr. Dawson, this has nothing to do with you. You better stay out of my business!”
The moment the words slipped out of Eileen’s mouth, Bryan grabbed Eileen’s arm and slung her body over his shoulder. Then, he carried her upstairs to his room.
Eileen groaned as he threw her on the bed. In the darkness, she saw him taking off his shirt.
