    “What?” Rowan rolls his eyes as I ask the question because I don’t understand what he just said, it’s


    just not registering in my red fogged. brain.


    “Go and get your mate and stop making both of you miserable.” He says again as he leans over and


    tucks the two ck bands into my front jeans pockets.


    “Go and get my mate?” I don’t know why I’m asking such st upid


    questions, it’s like my brain can’t quite figure out what’s happening.


    “Cas?” The sound of my mother bellowing through the house has the fog clearing quickly.


    “Go, I’ll deal with her and then Pack my bags.” The smirk on his face tells me he will still be here when I


    get back.


    “Smart as s.” I whisper as I quickly shoot from the kitchen and head for the front door before my mother


    can make her way down the stairs. I’m still not convinced I’m not going to kill Rowan, it will depend how


    I find Eva. If she’s doing anything with Francis then I might have to kill him and Rowan, I can feel Storm


    growling like a mad wolf as I jump into my SUV and point it towards Roxie’s.


    I make it to Roxie’s in record time but apparently there is a band on tonight so parking takes me


    forever, for the twenty minutes it takes for me to find a park spot I’m horn h o nking raging at everyone


    in sight.


    ‘So are we mating her or killing him?’ I don’t answer Storm as I stomp into Roxie’s, as an Alpha I get to


    bypas s the stu pidly long line and walk straight past the bouncer. I’ve been here enough that the door


    bands are burning a hole in my pocket. I can’t wait to find her, I’m going to throw her over my shoulder

    The room is stu pidly full as a rock band ms away on the drums and guitars, I’ve already spotted a


    few of the warriors and their mates as I circle the dance floor but I haven’t seen Eva yet. As an Omega


    she should stand out to anyone who has spoken to her so I head straight for


    the bar.


    “Hey.” I beckon the young male bartender over with two fingers and hees running over quickly.


    “How can I help?” He has to shout so I can hear him, leaning over the bar so I don’t have to shout as I

    “Came in two hours ago, she ain’t moved from there. Management had us keep an eye on her because


    she doesn’t have a band.” I can’t help the growl that leaves my throat, not only did one of my unmated


    warriors. bring her here but he’s also left her defenceless without a band. I nod my head at the


    bartender and pull a twenty from my jeans before. throwing it onto the bar. If he’s been keeping an eye


    on my mate he’s earned that and more. I don’t give him any more of my attention as I head for the


    booth he headed for, as per my normal visits, the people part like the Red Sea for me. Sometimes


    being an Alpha really doese in handy. I’m stopped in my tracks as I finallyy eyes on Eva, she’s


    sitting alone in the booth, tucked into the side furthest from the dance floor. Her face is turned down


    into a frown, she seems to be nursing a drink but it’s not the same pink thing she hadst time.


    “Fancy seeing you in a ce like this.” I expect her to jump like she did in the street but instead she just


    looks up at me and seems to sag with relief, “you alright Angel?” I slide into the booth next to her and


    she scoots herself over so she’s closer to me.

    exit. We almost make it out before I spot Francis in a dark corner kissing a dark haired female, I divert


    ust over to the couple.


    “I expect you in my office tomorrow morning.” The poor warrior looks like he’s seen a ghost as he turns


    to me and nods his head, “I’ll be taking Eva now, not that you would have noticed.” I watch him visibly


    gulp as he looks down at Eva before looking back at me.


    Once we are standing in the corridor and I can finally hear myself think I stop walking forcing Eva to


    stop next to me.


    “Put this on.” I pull out the ck rubber band and hand her one as I slide on the other.


    “Aren’t we leaving?” I shake my head no as she slides the band over her tiny wrist, “I’m really tired, I’ve


    been up since four and if you didn’t know I’m not a morning person.”


    “Don’t worry Angel, I’m going to wake you up.” I grab her tiny hand in mine and all but pull her along the


    corridor and out into the reception. area. Nodding at thedy behind the desk I take us into the ck


    door marked with a Greek Alpha symbol. You can’t get in here unless you are with an Alpha or are an


    Alpha, Rowan and Selena have only been. in because I vouched for them.

    Eva nods her head as she tries to peer around me but the solid door wont show her anything. “Eva,

    and I’ll get your out.” She gulps and nods her head, I don’t think she’s nervous anymore. because I can
