    "What does their birthday have to do with him? You and Jared will celebrate with them anyway," Lulu


    said, sounding disgusted.


    "And after what he did to Nn, he still wants to see them? That''s nerve," she added.


    "I already told him no," Nicole said, feeling conflicted, biting her lip.


    She sensed that Lawrence, despite leaving casually, still held onto something.


    "Nicole, is something bothering you?" Lulu asked gently.
