"You saw your grandpa''s fingers move?" Nicole repeated in shock.
"Yes, and it wasn''t just me." Jared nced at us.

Nicole looked at us with her eyes widened.She could not help but beat herself up deep within for
missing such a significant moment, even though she had been tending to the elderly Johnston every
day since he was hospitalized, while Jared and us, who had just arrived, had already witnessed it.
