Nicole went downstairs , puzzled by what had happened. She had only been in the bedroom for a short
while, and now Gloria was lecturing them now. “What happened , Mom?” Nicole nced at Norah ,
who was wiping tears from her eyes behind Gloria.
“You are here just in time, Nicole. Your two brothers are behaving less and less like elder brothers.
They not only did not y with Norah but also insulted her.” Gloria red at Samuel and Spencer.
Nicole hurriedly calmed Gloria down. “Don’t be angry. They have grown up and can solve things on
their own. You shouldn’t get involved.”
