Chapter 2346 Plan and Information

    Chapter 2346 n and Information

Alex wanted to forage through the pile of rocks, dirt, and nts on the ground. But the Wineweed guild had imed every bit of it and took what they could for themselves. He didn''t even have a chance to see if there were any White Ascension Flowers there.

Given that eight White Ascension Flower petals were thest thing he needed for his pill, he felt very annoyed at the fact that he might have to go on for another few months without it.

Truthfully, he didn''t even know where else to start.

Alex returned to his ce. He was still dejected, but he knew he would get over it quickly. At least, there was one good thinging out of all of this.

He no longer had to stay in this city.

He could leave immediately, be away from trouble, and start finding the flower somewhere else. The flowers were the only reason he was still staying here anyway. Otherwise, he wouldn''t have put up with living in such a terrible ce.

Killersky had left him for the time being and went to check on her disciple to see how he was doing. After talking for a bit, she hade to realize that there were still more people who wanted to kill other people''s disciples in order to put themselves forward in the overall ranking.

Alex had returned to the cottage for just a few minutes when he sensed peopleing over to his ce. He was curious at first, but then he sensed their strength and got confused.

What were Divinities doing at his ce?

He walked outside of the cottage and saw half a dozen Divinities flying next to Aethersage. Theynded in front of the cottage.

    "Brother Dawnde," Aethersage greeted.

"Brother Aethersage! Congrattions on getting the Alchemy God''s inheritance," Alex said in a wide smile.

    Aethersage grinned childishly, seemingly embarrassed.

"What are you doing here? I didn''t expect to see you this early after themotion you caused."

reborn walked up next to Alex. "That tournament rule is why," he said. "We can''t take young Aethersage here into the guild, so we needed some ce else to talk."

"Oh, and you decided toe here, senior?" Alex asked, surprised.

"He said he wanted to talk where his disciple was, so we came," reborn said.

"I didn''t know he was staying here. What happened? Why is he here?" Aethersage asked.

"That''s a story for another time," reborn said. "Let''s go inside for now."

Alex wasn''t privy to their talk. Instead, he had to wait outside one of the rooms in the cottage while the Divinities and Aethersage had their private conversation inside.

"Did you tell him we''re leaving?" Pearl asked.

"Haven''t had the chance to," Alex said. "Besides, I don''t even know where we should go next."

"What''s the next likeliest ce to find the flowers?"

Alex had a list of ces. "Threeflower Continent should have a ce," he said. "Unless others have made it there already, we may find a few. If not, we might have to go to the Medicine Continent. Although I have never been there before, so I''m not entirely sure if I can even search through the whole continent in time."

"I see. We''re going to have to struggle for a long while again then."

Half an hourter, the Divinities walked out one after another and began to leave. Before they left, however, reborn took Alex aside to tell him a few things.

"I didn''t have the time to get back to you the past two days. About the man we captured, we''ve confirmed that he is the head of their little organization. So you don''t have to worry anymore."

Alex thanked the man. It was a littlete, but he supposed getting that information was good nheless.

"This probably doesn''t matter to you, but we''ve also received some information about those who have been paying this man to attack random disciples of the tournament''s participants. Sadly, we can''t do much about them as it is outside our jurisdiction. We''ll try to report it to thepetition though."

"Anything is better than nothing, senior" Alex said and greeted the man farewell, watching him leave.

Aethersage finally walked out of the room, seemingly a little tired. He talked with his disciple for a while and learned from him what had happened.

"You guys were targeted?" Aethersage asked, his otherwise carefree persona getting serious all of a sudden.

"It''s over with," Alex said. "We''ve dealt with it already."

Aethersage was still angry. "Those bastards that go after the young disciples are despicable. What could they gain from killing such young men and women? It doesn''t even disqualify the alchemist from thepetition. It''s just senseless death."

"It''s the work of the insecure to drag down others because they have no confidence in their own skills," Alex said. "As long as there are other avenues for them to seed even the tiniest bit, they will take it."

Aethersage grumbled a little but said nothing else.

"Let''s talk about you, Brother Aethersage. You got the inheritance. I want to learn more about it if you don''t mind," Alex said.

"There''s nothing much to say really," Aethersage said. "There were some tests that I took andpleted very quickly. The spirit was very happy with my performance and decided to bond with me."

    "The… spirit?" Alex asked.

"Cauldron Spirit; Moonshard''s spirit," Aethersage borated. "The Alchemy God left his cauldron to test for the next person who could be eligible to get his knowledge. And I was epted."

"Oh… wow!" Alex hadn''t expected the inheritance to be transferred by a cauldron spirit at all. "So you now have a cauldron that has a spirit inside of it?"

    "Yes," Aethersage said, smiling widely.

"I''m happy for you, Brother Aethersage."

"Thanks," Aethersage said. "I''m d you didn''t join. With your talent, you could''ve stolen it from me."

Alex chuckled. "I doubt that. You are way more talented than me, especially considering just how recently you only started practicing Alchemy. Sooner orter, you''ll surpass me."
